I asked a simply question - Does God choose sides over football teams or political parties? The Infidels and Mockingbirds started chirping and gasLIGHTING away, "There is no God but Elvis is ALIVE!!!!" I can only share my experiences and prospective. I suspect that if the Infidels put enough energy into Elvis, he could become a deity. They can create their own deity and call it Roxyboobs. They can simply declare themselves a power greater than all. Reasonable minds also indulge in fantasies. Two years ago, we had a devastating flood in our community. It was the Church Doors that opened for folks who lost their homes. It was the Church Folks who came with Food, Water, Building Supplies, Labor, Ad Infinitum. I didn't see a single member from the Richard Dawkins Fan Club show up to help. God is more than just a definition or belief. God is action working through others. So keep singing those mockingbird songs. The messages will get lost in the snowstorm. Abracadabra  |
