A Liberal's Prospective on Big Pharm, Ambien Tweeting and Roseanne Barr

“It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting quoted by Roseanne Barr

This is a medication to treat insomnia so the question is she should be sleeping instead of tweeting at 2 am in the morning. This drug is obviously not working very well. It seems like many drugs are created for customers rather than to patients. Of course, the pharmaceutical company defends their drug or are they defending their bottom line.

ago, I was dealing with work related anxiety. The doctor gave me a week off and preribed Trazad. I started having nightmares so my hubby took me to the doctor again. He preribed Alprazolam. Next I was having hallucinations. My hubby threw the medications away. Next I was shaking. My teeth were chattering. I was saying doing things that I would not normally say or do. It almost broke up my marriage.

So do I believe that Ambien could be responsible for Roseanne Barr's crazy tweets at 2 in the morning? ABSOLUTELY!

It is sad when we expect doctors to us and the medications that they preribe do more damage than good. Last year, I was diagnosed with arrhythmia. The cardiologist preribed a medication that landed me in the hospital. I really don't have a whole lot of trust in doctors or pharmaceuticals.

I made it clear to the cardiologist that I would be taking that overpriced rat poison so he suggested aspirin. That works for me. I saw my main doctor last week. The blood test indicated the hemoglobin count was a tad bit low but not in the danger z. Her suggestion was Molasses. Maybe we are finally on the same page. Don't give me a stupid pill. I will respond better to a suggested lifestyle change.

Ambien is overpriced rattlesnake oil. I hope Roseanne Barr sues the Pharmaceutical Company and wins.

I have seen some bizarre reactions to Ambien, and in fact, it is no longer prescribed to the elderly..... or at least it wasn't covered by Medicaid years ago. The doctors started using antihistamines like Benadryl that cause drowsiness.
Too many medications have too many side effects, but I'm not sure if I buy Roseanne's excuse or not. LOL. However, it might take away the inhibitions that would have stopped her, IF she had inhibitions against that sort of comments.

Yeah, probably the dog ate my homework thing.....the Ambien excuse was only one of the many she posted....besides she's always been unpredictable and racist.....that Hitler costume and Jew cookies, the horrific screeching rendition of the anthem replete with crotch-grabbing.....talk about disrespectful.....she's a nutcase and the network was gambling on putting her back on.....waiting to happen....

Roseanne Barr has frequently been a controversial figure finding humor in things that other people might not.

Employers really don't care why an employee does what they do, they care about the bottom line. Roseanne doesn't appear to have many inhibitions but I still consider the possibility that the Ambien created problems.

I have a free-spirited nature myself and I remember when the doctor prescribed Alprazolam. That free spirited nature was amplified. It was like coming off of a drunk and saying, "Oh my God, I did WHAT!!!!!

I have no idea why she said what she did but I do find it interesting how quickly her "friends" dropped her. Reminds me of "laugh and the world laughs with you, cry and you cry alone" or something to that effect. She shouldn't have said what she did obviously but I think there are times we all say things we don't mean to say and regret. Don Rickles said far worse and someone I know saw Brad Garrett perform in Vegas and he was making fun of a woman in a wheelchair. I think that is despicable. Then there is Donald Trump who as we all know is your president. I find it very fascinating how some can get away with things that others can't.

Both ex-husband Tom Arnold and John Goodman were approached by reporters and decline to say anything negative about Roseanne Barr. There were indications they she may have issues with bi-polar disorder, Being bi-polar is not a moral issue nor is being a Trump supporter but if she does have drug/alcohol abuse problems, she needs to get a handle on it.
