AngelOrStar-What Do You Want on your Tree? Now that Labor Day, Halloween, Veteran's Day and Thanksgiving have passed, it is time to think about Christmas, Yule, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice - Ad Infinitum..... I have a fiber optic tree that I plug in every year. The Grinch has an honored place on my tree along with O'Malley the Elf. I don't allow anyone to be mean to O'Malley. Not even the Grinch. Do you think that O'Malley and the Grinch would get along with Trump or would you rather put Hillary on your tree?     Abracadabra  |

If I even put up a tree, the topper is an angel. When I was little, I was given an angel tree topper. She is made of paper and spun glass and was on every tree when I was growing up. The year I got married, I hadn't thought about it, until it was time to put the tree up, and my mother arrived with my angel. During one of our moves, she disappeared......... along with our marriage certificate? Strange combination of lost items, eh? I watched for another one like her for years, and about 18-20 years ago, a couple of my daughters found one in an antique store, and a year later, I found one in a flea market. If I put up a Christmas tree, it is a memory tree, with most of our ornaments having a personal story behind them, just like the angel. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Last year I made the decision not to put out my little table top tree. I thought that I would miss it........ Not so!! Have a holly, jolly Christmas, my friends!!
