People who live in blighted communities can make decisions to improve their lives. I've seen the clergy from different churches get together to create mentoring programs to young people find a positive direction with a focus on education versus gangs, drugs and multiple unwed pregnancies. I've seen churches get together to renovate buildings, clean up the trash and replace them with community gardens. . But YOU are the worst kind of American... Who doesn't want to change the flag.. but hide behind it.. to label blacks and browns, and liberals as "bad people.. deserving of what they get. Supporting. a white Nationalist ....Thinking it's about them and NOT about you.. American Christianity is intolerably bias..With white robes and hoods.. to hide behind.. a sect unto itself? Nationalist is Love of Country while Globalist is Love of the World. Most Christians I know wear Choir Robes of various colors. Have you ever heard a Black Choir? is an experience. They add the soul to gospel music. There were "good people" among those in Charlottesville.. Did you see them.. Did you hear them? Do you need an explanation as to what good people are?. "Good People" can recognize... I lived in Charlottesville for a time. There are good people in Charlottesville. It was the outsiders (on both sides) who came to the town to make trouble. There are some who want to tear down all the confederate memorials and burn Monticello which openly acknowledges it's history with the enslaved community. The Sons of the Confederacy want to reserve history, honor their ancestors and acknowledge the dark side of history. Covering it up and pretending like it never existed is not the answer. Ironically, "THE AVENUE" in Ventura, California has managed to turn from a blighted neighborhood into a vibrant bohemian type community. There are taco trucks and art galleries. This is where I lived with my two boys for a time. I took them to Church and the Boys and Girls Club. There were several women in that church who were dealing with the same scenario as mine. A couple things … White Nationalists and Nationalists are not the same thing … in fact they are as different as day and night. Elijah Cummings and Maxine Waters have been in their districts for over 30 years but won't even live in their own districts because they are so bad. Also, the United States has been sending humanitarian aid to Central American nations to improve the lives of their people. If herds of migrants are flocking to our borders, that money isn't going toward it's intended purpose. Where is it going? Trump is not a politician, he's a businessman and is going to ask those kinds of questions. Lawmakers who are misappropriating those funds for their own personal use will point the finger at Trump and call him a racist, among other things. It is only to divert attention from their own corrupt ways that they have been getting away with for decades. You are way out of line about Christians and the Faith Community. They will do the lion's share of the work that needs to be done but the funds need to be used for the intended purpose. I've also seen this happening in Washington D.C. inner cities. I was at a luncheon with the South/West White House which is a center in the West part of D.C. It is run by the local clergy to provide mentoring programs and other resources to the youth and families. The William Penn House has youth work camps where kids from privileged communities work with kids from the inner city to renovated blighted buildings and build community gardens. You have no idea what the Quakers do. I am on at least three committee and active on a few more. I have no need to defend myself or accept the labels that you are trying to put on me. Where did the money go that was sent to Central American nations for humanitarian aid for the citizen of that nation? It is about opposition to open borders. It's about misappropriated funds. I don't care if the funds were intended to fix the inner cities, rural communities or third world nations. If the funds don't go toward the intended purpose that is corruption. That is a concern. I was in Baltimore a few years ago with the intentions of exploring a Basilica. Mission accomplished. I came home really grateful to be living in West Virginia. I came home to a natural disaster with major flooding in our community. I was grateful for the churches in our community. They helped with the clean-up, rebuilding, and basic needs. West Virginians tend to pull together and help each other. I live in an apartment building with several homebound seniors. I was busy finding and delivering water to the Seniors, I also delivered groceries to the Seniors. I certainly try to be a good representative for West Virginia and my Spiritual Community. So you can take your Trump Derangement Syndrome along with your Star Derangement Syndrome and your name-calling about things you are clueless about and shove it. Abracadabra

In all fairness, I was responding to some of his comments in another blog. So suddenly, I am white trash and a poor representation of West Virginia and my spiritual community along with a few other choice names. Don't you get it... Houston is the Key to TEXAS.. Texas isn't the key to Houston..You have the most diverse population in the entire State.. And as goes Houston.. so will go Texas. Between Odessa/Midland and Houston.. Austin will referee this battle. Austin. is the only Fair playing place in the STATE.. And deservedly so... the referee. It will side with the winner.
