Leaf LOVES to play that Racist Card

Trump is not the face of racial injustice. That's been happening long Trump became President. What is more problematic is the Senate and Congress who have districts in horrible shape. They promise but never deliver after they get voted into office again and again - year after year.

Without the 90-plus percent black vote, the Democratic Party, at the national level, is in deep trouble. This explains why they race-bait. Constantly.

So the cops lie in wait to arrest innocent young blacks? Not one word about personal responsibility?

Actor Denzel Washington, whose last movie was about a criminal defense lawyer, commented on a criminal justice system that many call institutionally racist, resulting in an unfair mass incarceration of blacks.

But Washington wasn't buying it. He said: "It starts in the home. You know, if the father is not in the home, the boy will find a father in the streets. I saw it in my generation and in every generation before me, and in every one since. ... If the streets raise you, then the judge becomes your mother, and, you know, prison becomes your home."

As a result, Washington said, "So, you know, I can't blame the system." In other words, the breakdown or, more precisely, the nonformation of the nuclear black family is a far, far bigger problem than the allegedly racist criminal justice system.

But as long as the Democratic Party continues to market itself as the party of social justice in an ever-racist America, the party thinks it can capture the black vote. Who cares whether it's counterproductive for Dems to tell young blacks that hard work doesn't off? It's the votes that matter.

Former Washington Post investigative journalist Ron Kessler wrote in his book, "Inside The White House," that President Lyndon Johnson, in touting the Civil Rights Act of 1964, said, "I'll have those (N-words) voting Democratic for the next 200 years."

President Trump, through his secretary of education, urges parental choice in schools. Polls show that inner-city parents want the option to remove their from underperforming public schools, where many of those who graduate cannot read or do math at grade level. Many graduate without the skills employers want. Many of those pursuing higher education must take remedial courses to compete at the college level.

Yet to Biden and the Democrats, Trump, who wants to do something about the quality of education in inner cities, is "racist."

And "racist" Trump wants to eliminate the competition for jobs held by illegal aliens. Research by Harvard economist George Borjas shows that illegals, especially unskilled illegals, compete for inner-city jobs and place downward pressure on wages. The Americans losing out are the very black and brown workers the Democratic Party claims they care so deeply about.

But that doesn't stop the Democrats from employing their tried-and-true technique. The race card. Don't leave home without it

The lack of a father in the home has long been a problem in our society, mostly touted as a black problem, but it's also a problem in white families also. But as long as the government makes it more economical for the mother to be alone, raising several children, it will continue to be a problem. President Clinton had started some reform in that area, but it didn't last long.
We strongly need welfare reform in our country. Case in point, when I was getting ready to go to nurse's training, back in the 70s, we had 7 children, but because my husband was working full time, and I was working some part time, and we had no large medical bills, we didn't qualify for any kind of assistance. The father of a friend was a school college counselor and he checked every option. The friend, who worked for DCFS said the only solution they could come up with was for my husband to legally change his address to his parents, and we claim that we were separated. It would never be checked, and I would qualify for my tuition to be paid, our child care paid while I was in school, food stamps and a stipend equal to minimum wage paid while I was in school. No wonder so many fathers are absent from the homes.
BTW, there is no way we could agree to being dishonest, so I got a student loan and worked full time to pay the sitter while I was in school. There were several in my class that was on those government programs, and many of them either flunked out or just quit.

I am so glad that you and your husband stuck it out. Many people who work toward thier goals will value it more than someone who gets it handed to them. I came from a generation where "sexual freedom" was the norm which came with consequences. My older son didn't have his father but fortunately had several role models, his Uncles and his Grandfather and eventually his Step-Father but he always felt the loss. Fortunately, he's grown into a fantastic husband and attentive father for his young son.

I did marry my younger son's father but that marriage was a disaster that I didn't know how to fix. If I had to do it over, I would be more careful about who my child's father was. I would tell potential daughters that every sexual partner is a potential father to a child and to think about the choices.

How do these men feel about becoming fathers who are nothing but a child support check for their children with minimal input into their children's life. Mothers teach children unconditional love. Fathers give them structure that they need to be successful in life.

It gives me no pleasure to cope with racists, or your ignorance about it. I do hope you grow up and open your eyes because you've surrendered all your discernment capacity at this point. Become a part of the solution and not a part of the problem. Pick up a sign, do the right thing and take to the street, or drown in the abyss and poof...into irrelevance.

You right, of course.

Every Canadian wants to live in the US because of the freedoms you enjoy that are denied us.

We watch you receiving first class medical treatment while we die in queues because our commie governments ration medical care.

We see you defending your homes with decent weapons while we are stuck with kitchen knives.

We see you forestalling the leftist extremists by showing you are armed and ready to protect the constitution. If we did that our guns would be confiscated and we would be jailed.

Another factor in creating poverty is people having large numbers of children...If you can't figger out how to stop having kids, the father should go live somewhere else.....

Sadly, a lot of the problem in our country wasn't large families We had a large family, and they were well taken care of by us, not by the state.
The problem was women, without a man in the house, who continued to have babies to stay on the public aid hand out. When President Clinton got it passed that when a child reached a certain age, the mother needed to work, and there were no more large paydays for over a set number of children, we saw women having fewer babies and getting training to have a job. That was the effect in our area at least. Sadly, the next administration did not push to maintain that policy.

The problem is when a woman keeps making children and the father/fathers live somewhere else. Children need a positive male figure in thier lives to show them structure and they've been reduce to the role of "baby daddy" which may or may not include a child support check. The kids need thier fathers.
