 Seeing 'Marnie' instantly made me think of Marnie Nixon...perhaps the greatest singer in musicals who never got the billing or recognition (or renumeration) she deserved.

She was the voice of the leading ladies in the movie versions of My Fair Lady, Tonight, The King & I , An Affair to Remember.

Many people still think Natalie Wood , Deborah Kerr, and Audrey Hepburn sang the songs in those movies.

Nope, it was Marnie Nixon.

 Nice collection of Os. And yes, October will be here soon... my favorite season also, but you can have winter! The older I get, the less I tolerate the cold and the heat.
Does O'Malley hang around all year?

 SOMEONE YOU KNOW HAS ACTUALLY BEEN TO THE MET? MY MOTHER LISTENED TO THE SATURDAY MATINEES FOR YEARS AND THAT IS HOW I HEARD MOST OPERAS BEFORE I EVER SAW THEM.

When I was doing Genealogy research for my step-son's paternal tree which is VERY Irish - I noted that the Gibbons and the O'Malley's of County Mayo frequently married each other. I liked the name O'Malley so I used it to name the elf.
