PhotoFriday "W" for ThrEE Williams and West Virginia

My younger s0n is technically a William although we usually call him Billy. He was born in California but we moves to West Virginia when he was a youngster. He adapted to the culture. My s0n walks and talks like a Mountain William aka Hillbilly aka Mountaineer. Billy is a THIRD generation William on BOTH sides of his family. Both Grandfathers, his father and my brother are all Williams.

There is also the William Penn House in Washington DC which is now called the Friends Place because of the Political Correct Movement. My opinion Bah Humbug!!!

When I stay at the William Penn House, I like strolling a few blocks to the Folger Theater for plays written by William Shakespeare.

Nice selection of W's you have there, I especially like the one of the William Penn house.

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Very interesting" W" photos and post, Star.Plenty of William's on show. My late fathers name was William, but everyone called him Bill, My late husband was also a William, but answered to Billy. Our eldest son is William too, but we all call him Liam.

When you live in West Virginia you are bound to have lots of items starting with the letter "W". I assume the young man in your photos is your son William or aka as Billy. William Penn House looks like an interesting building.

West (by God) Virginia is an interesting and beautiful state. My girl's Dad was from there.

I used to travel for business to Pittsburgh, once or twice a year. I'd stay at the William Penn Hotel , in downtown Pittsburgh. It's now owned by Omni Hotels, but ...judging from its current website page, as awesome as ever.

Interesting peeks at the Ws in your life.

The William Penn House in Washington D.C. is a hostel with Dorms and shared bathrooms. No smoking, no drinking, no television, with a simple breakfast. The William Penn Hotel in Pittsburgh would be more luxurious.
