Photo Friday - 5K Trial Run - Honoring MrsJoe Traditionally when I do sporting events, I will carry prayer ties to send special prayers for a cause or individuals who need special God Shots. I have scheduled a Valentine's Day Virtual 5K Run although realistically I will be walking it. We choose our own route and record the timing to an online site. I am doing this run to celebrate my recovery from hip replacement surgery. I am carrying prayer ties for classmates and friends who are dealing with the same struggle with mobility issues. It seems like several of my classmates and a several of my friends are dealing with pending hip/knee replacements or recovering from them. I am carrying prayer ties so that they can get an extra boost from the cosmos. The more prayer warriors the better. So today, I decided to do a trial run (trail walk) rigorous honesty. I started from my home to the fish hatchery down the road and the hiking trail behind it. I decided to stop at the post office to ship off clothes that have outgrown me to an online consignment store. I also was sending prayer ties to MrsJoe who recently lost her husband. MrsJoe helped me tremendously when I was dealing with my brother and later my spouse's passing. I felt so helpless and told MrsJoe - All I can do is pray. "Praying is a lot," MrsJoe reminded me. Absolutely, petitioning to the "Ultimate Deity" is the most powerful thing that we can do for our loved ones. As I was walking to the post office to ship off the packages including Prayer Ties to Illinois, it occurred to me - "Make this 5K trial run count for something. I am doing the exact same thing that I will be doing on Valentine's Day. Honoring MrsJoe seems to be the right purpose. We all need Prayer Warriors and I like to find tangible ways to do it. It was a beautiful walk through town and the hiking trail was incredible. I really really felt my Higher Power. A wise woman once told me "Praying is a lot." It is something that I claim and hold dear. You are very much loved MrsJoe on the Earth Walk and beyond...............      Abracadabra  |

My hip was replaced in November. I still can't run but last year even walking to the mailbox was difficult. I can grateful to be able to walk a 5K Abracadabra

NO Snow? 5K can be challenge for me since I am on the rebuild Hard to believe I won a 20 K In Des Moines way back.

STAR YOU R AN ANGEL. UR WORDS ARE SPOT ON. MRS JOE IS A SUPER NICE LADY THAT HAS SUFFERED THE HORRIBLE LOST OF HER HUSBAND AND MORE THAN THAT HER EMOTIONAL LIFE. I ALSO HAVE BENE PRAYING FOR YOUR RECOVERY AND GLAD YOU ARE GETTING WELL. I WILL NOT REVEAL ON THIS SITE MY ISSUES BUT I HAVE BEEN AN AM DEALING WITH SOME THINGS THAT PREVENT ME FROM THE ACTIVITIES I ONCE DID. MRS JOE AND NILE KNOW BUT THEY KNOW I DONT TRUST ON THIS SITE, TOO MANY HATERS THAT SEIZE INFO TO USE TO TRASH SO MY HEALING IS IN OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRISTS HEALING HANDS GOOD LUCK IN UR HEALING AND DONT LET ANY THING PREVENT U FROM GETTING BACK TO WHAT U LIEK TO DO.
