Astrology - In Love With The Wrong Sign According To The Stars - Maybe Not Logically Speaking - Fire (Aries, Leo, Saggittauius) blend best with Air (Libra, Gemini, Aquarius) While Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) blends best with Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces) As the saying goes a fish and a bird can fall in love but do they live in the water or in the air. Thus would Dreamy Pisces (Water) and Spacy Libra (Air) be a love connection. If there is a mutual attraction, you can bet there are planetary energies saying Yea. It takes more than just the sign where the horoscope is read to determine if you and your honey are a love connection. The Daily Horoscope is only the beginning of the mysteries of of astrology. Folks who investigate futher will learn more about themselves and soon discover that 12 horoscope signs in newspapers and magazines are less than the tip of the iceberg in a vast in an intricate system of splendid cosmic order. Folks seeking astrological consultation ask about family, job, health, and what the purpose in life. The most common questions involve love and relationships. The most frequently asked questions of astrologers regards compatibility like this: "The Native is Leo and her partner's is Taurus. They are not supposed to get along very well, but they do--why?" The answer is simple: Folks are much more than their sun signs. There is also the moon, Venus Mars, the fifth HOuse and the Rising Signs to comsider. It two people are attracted to each other there is a connection to be found in the charts. The truth is that any two signs can get along with each other because 'synastry' (a.k.a. understanding how charts relate to one another) involves comparing and analyzing all of the planets involved in both charts. The Moon represents the home, security, and inner life; Mercury represents communication; Venus represents affection and taste; Mars represents physicality and competition; Jupiter represents philosophy, religion and travel; Saturn represents Karmic responsibility and "time" contracted to spend with one another; "Uranus" represents electricity and instant attraction; Neptune represents psychic attunement; and Pluto represents transformational potential. Other points to consider are the ascendant (rising sign), descendant, the Midheaven and the IC of the chart as well as the Moon's nodes and Vertex (a point of fate). |

I never can figure out the astrology thing. So much is so accurate (I am a true crab), but it just seems too weird to rely on it. Is it really meant more as guidance?

I am a Gemini 5-25-57. I read the horoscopes..at the end of the day..LOL when I remember..to see if they were close. LOL I guess I have wondered which sign is best for me. Although, like you have stated..it takes a lot more than just a sign. Plus..I have been told by some in here that Geminis are bad. I have yet to meet one that is not a happy, loving person. I wish they wouldn't give us Geminis a bad ! Psst??? Which sign "should" be ideal for me?

Hmmm.. I have on occasions indulged the female in my sights, allowing her to try and convince me that there is a great deal of importance in the coincidence of matching star signs, if I thought there could be a pay-off at the end of it I did once read a rundown on what Aquarians are supposed to be like and, strangely enough, it had me pretty well down pat (aren't they just wonderful stroking the ego?) except for one thing. I do absolutely NOT wear striped socks with my fancy going out suit of clothes, lol. I'm not into taking vitamins either, I figure there's enough natural ones in my body to keep me up to par for any situation ... lol. There could well be a few too many hors moaning around because of them, but now and then they get a chance to have a rest too Be interesting to read your take on my star sign. There never seems to be a consensus, depending on what magazine I happen to glance at in a moment of idle curiosity. If only to see the reactions by ummm other interested persons, rofl.

I just noticed this BLOG and I absolutely love Astrology. I find is VERY interesting and often come across some pretty, "right on" descriptive personality types. I always consult the personality type of the male I am interested in. I didn't know it....but my husband passed was my perfect match (Cancer). I understand all the reasons, "why" ....more now. I met him, at 12...married him at 19. Anyway...nice to meet you and I will come and check in from time to time. I am a Pisces and proud of it. Barbie

if I read this right..Happy Belated Birthday Barbie!!!!!!! I'm fascinated by Starwoman's wisdom so I keep coming back to read up.. A couple of years ago I had a complex chart done, by the husband of a friend. When it was completed, we sat down and he went over it with me. But I was disappointed. I felt I would learn more about myself....but, I'm not sure whether he was just a beginner or besides understanding how everything mixes together, you really need a little psychic ability. My good friend on Long Island, has an astrologer who is unreal. He is so good with reading her chart...that he's able to tell her about phsycial ailments, things that will happen with her daughter and other things pertaining to her estranged husband. I would love to go see him, if I ever get up there. Actually, I was thinking about making a trip there in early Fall. That's a good time of year. Maybe I should have her reserve me some time. It is fascinating... Barbie P.S. Thank you for the birthday wishes...

Well, surprising findings. For starters, I do not have a good head for business. I'm too idealistic and too generous (so I have been told by my critics who wanted nothing but for me to succeed). In my business as a graphic designer I was far more interested in the results of my creativity than the financial rewards for them, often downsizing them to suit my clients rather than reflecting the quality and intensity of the work. Freedom and independence is important to me but not in relationships. In a truly loving relationship I'd happily relinguish both to ensure the most harmonious, intimate, trusting, respecting and loving union of two soulmates. Guess I must be the odd one out for you then.
