Second Thoughts Feel the need for an explaination about something I mentioned in my last Blog! The Testicle Festival is an old western tradition. It stems from when after they rounded up the cows from the way out pastures long ago and actually still to this day they castrated the steers so that they would become good eating animals. They would have a festival for this and then people eat the Rocky Mountain Oysters! So this festival still happens at Rock Creek, Montana the third weekend in September and people come from all around and have a big party! And yes they do serve Rocky Mountain Oyster's which are Steer Testicles, and yes, I've had a ball! I am not being crude, this is an actual event and they have been doing this forever. Hope I didn't gross anyone out! Just thought I should explain what the Testicle Festival was and if you ever go you will have a ball!

Ladynads......Soooo funny you should talk about the "Testicle Festival". In Colorado we had the same event. I believe it was also help 3 weekend of September. The event was held in WestCliff / Wetmore Colorado. I quaint mountain town. I used to go with my ex inlaws every year. The church would host the event and everyone in the small town would attend. LOL I have always heard of Rocky Mountain Oysters --- but never realized that people really ate them. YUK!
