SIMPLE INSPIRATIONS OF THE WEEK

Once, all villagers decided to pray for rain, on the day of prayer all people gathered & only one boy came with an umbrella.

THAT IS FAITH

Example of the feeling of a one year old baby. When you throw him in the air, he laughs because he knows you will catch him

THAT IS TRUST

Every night we go to bed, without any of assurance of being alive the next morning but still we set the alarms in our watch to wake up.

THAT IS HOPE

Very nice friendly. A lot of people in todays world find it difficult to have these three simple things, Faith, Trust and Hope.

Many thanks, SpiritGirl - I know you believe in all three - hope, faith and trust.

Have a wonderful day.

The situation with many that you mention, Robyn, is unfortunate - without these three attributes, the loss is theirs.

Good to see you after a long long time. How have you been ??

Have a nice day.

Most certainly, Poetdancer, you and I are agreed on the three essential human emotional needs.

So are many others. I trust implicitly unless people prove otherwise. You do even better.

Have a wonderful day. & KsOCs

I loved all three of your examples, but the one that I most responded to was your example of Faith. I learned this lesson early, that if you pray and have faith, you had better be prepared! I have been the boy with the umbrella and been ridiculed because of it. However, in the end, my prayer was granted, not on my timetable, but as God willed. My having to wait taught me to trust. The hardest for me is hope, but I keep a journal so that I can go back and reflect on all answers which remind me that I will, in fact, wake up tomorrow. Thank you for this post. You leave me with a smile and a warm feeling.
Many thanks for your observations and sharing your experience, SilverRosi.

My experiences are somewhat similar to yours. That inspired me to reproduce this read of mine.

My prayer was not answered but three years down the line, I was given something better. It strengthened my faith.

I trust everyone till they prove otherwise; I have never been cheated except twice but the people who cheated me were more needy than I believed they were.

All along I have hoped which triggered inspiration which, in turn, triggered positive action.

Your journal is a great idea - I have, unfortunately failed there. Perhaps, it is never too late to start.

Many thanks again - have a wonderful evening and a great day tomorrow.
