A tender kiss persuades our love to sprout; The fragrance of which honours spring's bouquet. Like blossoms in the summer our love thrives; Caressed by the winds of the balmy nights. Hearts melted by the stars as fate contrives; Cajoling our love to those dizzy heights. The bloom is off and our love starts to wane Like fallen leaves in autumn, so forlorn. Amidst tumultuous minds and crushing pain, Our deep affection is replaced by scorn. Though failed love always casts a wintry pall, It's better to have loved than not at all.
