My Worst Fears What scares me is the bane of old age; that I can’t grow old gracefully. I cannot bear to be like garbage discarded in a dark back alley. Grey hairs and wrinkles plus weak eyesight; I sure do not seem like a winner. Snores that keep you awake all night can make the nicest person bitter. I’m scared that I may lose my charm; that sweet young things may call me uncle. I would prefer to buy the farm than having to face this debacle. ORGAN TRANSPLANT. by J.R. Reed. I drank, my arteries filled with fat: the ventriicle went lax and a clot stopped my heart. Now I sit in St. Petersburg sunshine. No whiskey; wearing a girl's heart. My blood has adopted a child who shuffles through my chest carrying a doll. Just because you have silenced a man does not mean you have changed his mind.

Hi Lee: Watching myself get old and wrinkled makes me feel so powerless, but unfortunately worrying about it just speeds up the process and causes more wrinkles.

But there are benefits. I am thriving on the freedom from expectations. With all of that behind us we can celebrate the freedom to, for the first time in life, be our real selves every moment. Have all of the fun and new experiences you can find. It is there in spite of the negatives. Just ignore them and keep on trucking. Spiritwoman ^i^

Thank you all for the comments. I may not be able to run the 100 meters, play basketball from morn till dusk or swim 10 lengths of the pool anymore but I now know how to use the computer, how to point and shoot with my camera and best of all, I have the time to write. It ain't that bad actually. Uncle Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past
