Foto Friday - Odds and Ends

Here are some photos that I think fit in the theme "Odds and Ends".

From the top:
1). The first photo is a rattan ware shop in Malacca, Malaysia. Everything in this shop is made from rattan – the stem of a wild palm.

2). The second is of chillies being sold on a street in Venice. At first I thought they are flowers.

3). This is a red and white grass that I took at the Gardens by the Bay, Singapore. The colours reflect the colours of the Singapore flag.

4). This is the photo of the breathtaking marina that faces our motel in Jeju Island, Korea. Jeju is a very beautiful island and the food is fantastic.

I never knew what rattan was.

Great pictures! Yes, the chilies in the baskets do look like flowers.

Great collage, Lee. In Guatemala they sell many things made of rattan.
Beautiful sight in the last picture. Thanks.

Your pictures revive many memories of my time in the far east Lee. Some great shots.

A great collage of photos from various places, Lee, and lots of color as well. Thanks so much.

I had a hanging rattan chair like the one in the top photo for years. I had it in my ocean facing window when I lived on the beach and spent many dreamy hours swinging in it and watching the scenery.
