Foto Friday - Hearts and Flowers The second photo with clusters of yellow flowers that look like two enjoined hearts was taken at the Taiping Lake Gardens. This tree has been named the Cauliflower Tree and the flowers, growing from the stem instead of from the end of branches, give off a strong fragrance. Unfortunately, it seldom flowers (this is the first time that I have seen it flower) and the flowers last only about two weeks. The other two are small flowers (about an inch in diameter) of vines that are often found wild. At times though, they can be found climbing fences. The wildflowers of that part of the world are simply magnificent, Lee. Thanks so much for posting those great photos and descriptions. "Life isn't fair, but it beats whatever comes in second." -- Gentleben

Very unusual series of flower pictures Lee, the heart shaped one at the top really catches the eye. I'd love to see that one for real on the tree. Alfie...

The best way to start is from the instruction manual. Just try the functions and if it does not turn out alright, we can simply erase. Online, there is the Digital Photography School and a host of other sites. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past
