Photo Monday

The wild bauhinia kockiana is a climber which climbs to the top surface of a host tree to bask in the sunlight. It needs lots of sunlight and water. Hence, during the rainy season, it produces lots of bright orange flower clusters and is a sight to behold. I am fortunate in that Taiping is one of the wettest towns in the area and we have summer all year round.

Nice picture Lee.

We have also those vines of plants in the Philippines!

Hi Lee: It sounds wonderful to have Summer all year. That tree and vine are huge and so green.

Thank you. Have seen these plants in Mexico and always wondered what they were called.

Beautiful vegetation, Lee. The weather in your country is similar to ours.

Hmm Poet,

A 3 hour drive will only take you to KL. Another 3 hours you will reach Taiping and I shall be waiting by my gate. As for the vine, I have enlarged them for you.

Lee
p.s. Are you in a green and orange bikini?
