Photo Monday - V The Victoria Bridge, a railway truss bridge located in Karai, Perak, is one of the oldest in the country and was built in 1900 as a crossing over the Perak River. Although it is not in use now, the adjoining footbridge is still being used by motorcyclists and pedestrians. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past |

Hi Roxy, The small town of Karai is located just beside the Perak River. During the rainy season, it often floods which is why the houses are built slightly higher than the road. The houses here are probably more than 100 years old. You have an enjoyable weekend too. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Yes, Poet, It used to go all the way to Singapore but it has been replaced by a new bridge with double track which you can see in the 3rd and 4th photos. However, it has not been demolished because the people still use the adjoining side bridge to cross the river. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past
