[SIZE3]
The new type of colourful trishaws with loud music and fluffy dolls powered by strong young men are putting the old type of trishaws out of business in Malacca.

Colorful, but I think I would prefer the quieter, plainer type.
We saw something similar in New York City.... maybe more like a rickshaw because the bicycle was in the front. In fact, our tour bus let us off about 8 blocks away from where we were parked, and with my bad knees, my son hired one to take me back to our vehicle. The young man insisted that my son also ride with me, but we had our doubts because we are both big people..... the young man did it!

I have ridden a rickshaw in Hawaii. It was a fun thing to do. When the fireworks were on here in Vancouver for three nights there were a number of rickshaws around as vehicles would not have been abke to get through the crowds.

I never rode a rickshaw, but four of us rode a 4-person pedal surrey. Three of us pedaled and showed a little respect by giving our 85-year-old aunt a free pass on the pedaling part!
