These pictures evoke many memories of my time spent in the Lake Gardens when I was stationed in Taiping all those years ago, Lee. Thanks for posting them.

Lovely peaceful pictures. Remind me of a road near Charleston, SC. USA, where the live oak trees cover over the road and are hung with Spanish moss.
