Old Dirt Needs Love Today, I was looking for my shoes, so I decided they must be under the bed. I had been putting this off because of the dust I knew was under there. Ever notice how things take on a life of there own??The dust under my bed tends to do this. Some people have dust bunnies. I, on the other hand have a dust community. LOL And believe me, it's thriving! At night, I hear them building roads under there. Last month they voted on a mayor. Can you believe that, a mayor! I understand they even have a senior citizens' home. Their motto is, " Old Dirt Needs Love, Too. " Of course I'm kidding and you must be wondering what I'm up to next. Well I was illustrating how something takes on a life of it's own. Just look around your house and think of some of the things that have? Over due bills, keep beeping like my cell when it's battery is low. Beep, beep, pick me up on your way out the door, please. I tend to ignore that beeping sound in my head just the way I've gotten use to my alarm clock. I bought this alarm clock purposely, that has this loud annoying buzz and put it far away out of my reach so I would have to get up and turn it off. Well guess what?? You're right, I never hear it anymore. My internal alarm clock wakes me up now. So when I eventually wake up.. the alarm is playing itself out and I often hear it sigh!!LOL There's something else that takes on a life of it's own... I'm talking about a secret. Ever notice how a real juicy secret begs to be told?? It's like it takes a life on of it's own, demanding to be passed along. Ever have one of those juicy secrets just sitting there on the tip of your tongue and you're trying so hard not to say it and you edge closer to the person as if they aren't already close enough to hear. The secret just sort of slips out of your mouth and it's out there and you say... hmmmm but don't tell anyone??? Well usually the person you tell it to was just itching to hear it, they've already heard the humor?? LOL.Some people however can and do take secrets to their grave. I can do that too ... hmmmmmm but you'd have to tell me your secret and kill me right after.... LOL Of course I'm just kidding here, I certainly can keep a secret if it means so much to my close friends that I do need to keep my mouth shut. I can and do keep secrets it's my own that I can't. They take on a life of their own and eventually have to be told. I confide in my closet friend and if it's something that is more like a confession then I leave that to a professional who can work me through the guilt or fear. I'm just practicing throwing humor into some serious stuff... checking out to see if it fits. You're welcomed to give me some feed back. Love and peace Luvshack |

That is really funny Luv..I was rolling on my sides after reading this. I will take a second look at my dust bunnies under the bed now to see what they are up to...LOL Hey thought only male shoes presided under your bed....hee hee..Have a good day and will compare notes....Shar

Hee hee...well thought that would get your funny bone...that comment has been a favorite of mine for eons and always get the looks and/or comments when I say that..but ya know tis true..but they best be special ones or those shoes will be walking right back out that door again where they came through...now will let you mull over that one...LOL...Hugs Luv...Shar

I love it, I know my dust bunnies under my bed have taken on a life of their own. I can agree with it being a whole community, but then you know what they say about bunnies, start with two and before you know it.................

ATB4U <Chuckle> Well I just can't seem to get rid of that community of dust bunnies you know. My vaccuum would be like a hurricane and the whole community might get wipe out! Geesus can't do that ya know they just elected a new mayor and the community voted him in because he was allowing expansion!! roflmbo LS
