I Didn’t Recognize You A 54 year old woman slipped, hit her head, was knocked unconscious and taken to the hospital. While in the Emergency Room she had a near death experience. Seeing God she asked "Is my time up?" God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live." Since she had another 43 years, 2 months and 8 days to live she figured she might as well make the most of it! She decided to stay in the hospital and have a face-lift, some liposuction, a perky pair of breast implants and a slenderizing tummy tuck. Her beautician made a house call gave her a new style and changed her hair color. The hospital had someone on staff to brighten her teeth. She was released from the hospital on a bright and sunny day and the taxi cab she was riding in was broadsided by an ambulance and she was killed. When she arrived in front of God she was furious. "I thought you said I had another 43 years? Why didn't you save me from the ambulance?" She demanded! God replied: "I didn't recognize you." |

Smiling here as I am taking my 44 yr old car (66 Corvair) to the transmission shop to get it fixed so it will keep running......LOL "The cause of America is in a great measure the cause of all mankind."....T. Paine
