The Tea Party should refer to the latest Pew Research poll that shows only 19% of Americans view it favorably. If they continue to press their assault on middle class Americans they will continue to see their party become the shortest active political party in existence...and for good cause, I might add. The rich cats had better understand that there are a hell of a lot more workers than bosses...we are angry and we are becoming more angry. Excellent post Ricky.

Maine, "The way life should be"....after decades of liberal Governors the State like many others are sick and tired of the status welfare, business desructive quo and has elected a leader not a follower. Thanks for this post highlighting another hero of the TEA party movement. I grew up in a small town 17 miles south of Lewiston-Auburn and my Grandmother is from Woolwich just across the river from Bath, the new Governor is overwhelmingly popular. Its time to start reading the Bible, It will scare the Hell out of you...

The Associated Press at 12:25 PM PDT today 3 25,2011 released a story telling where the mural is being relocated in Maine's largest city Portland. Rep. Ben Chipman initiated the move, saying it would keep it on public display. Governor Paul Lepage said he appreciates the history represented by the mural but he thought artwork in that building must display the departments goal of balancing intersts of both employees and employers.

I grew up in a small town 17 miles south of Lewiston-Auburn and my Grandmother is from Woolwich just across the river from Bath, the new Governor is overwhelmingly popular. "AUGUSTA — Gov. Paul LePage is currently more popular among Mainers than Gov. John Baldacci was right before the election, according to an opinion poll released Monday. However, that same survey shows LePage isn’t enjoying much of a honeymoon with voters. Those were some of the highlights from Public Policy Polling, a North Carolina-based firm that conducts surveys across the United States. The organization was active during the 2010 election, conducting several comprehensive polls that measured the governor’s race, as well as the popularity of Maine’s congressional delegation. Over the last several days PPP has been releasing results from an automated survey of 1,247 registered voters taken between March 3 and March 6. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.8 percent. The poll shows that 48 percent of respondents disapprove of LePage’s performance while 43 percent approve.

Skipper.. before you get your underwear all bunched up be reminded that I am speaking of the area of Maine that I am familiar with not the entire State.......When you get a speeding ticket from a state trooper he is not very popular with you but the trooper did the right thing......Congrats to the school from Tuscon for their upset win over the school from Durham NC. Its time to start reading the Bible, It will scare the Hell out of you...

Besides the obvious physical differences, what exactly is the difference between the censorship of Governor LePage removing the artwork and the censorship of theTaliban removing the two colossi of Buddha?

Ricky well the obvious difference is Religion. Labor is not a religion(although some think it is)its a factor of production. No better than Capital and natural resources...... Its time to start reading the Bible, It will scare the Hell out of you...

Ricky well the obvious difference is Religion. Labor is not a religion(although some think it is)its a factor of production. No better than Capital and natural resources...... Both are censorship of public works of art. Both are intended to eliminate all references to the previous hierarchy by the conqueror Both serve as reminders to the conquered what will happen if you resist. Biologically this is on a par with new male lions killing all of the cubs after taking over the den. Historically this is akin to the Salem Witch Trials and the Red Scares. Is this the best we can do?

You might take the time to read this from the Sun Journal. It seems to be at odds with your assessment of Le Page's popularity...unless you measure it as anything above 30%. "AUGUSTA — Gov. Paul LePage is currently more popular among Mainers than Gov. John Baldacci was right before the election, according to an opinion poll released Monday. The Lambda in Wisconsin has been an ever-growing groundswell by the most ruthless of voters: Mothers of school aged children. If the pattern holds in Maine both will match the pattern set in California when the reactionary right takes control of government. An avalanche of a backlash
