Take charge of your feelings ! People don't let he or she push you into something you don't want. As we make friends on SFF treat each other with respect. We all want to be close to one another. Men and women need and want closeness, caring feelings the feeling of being needed. I see it everyday here on here. Women and men picking some one easy to get close to. For years I have gone crazy wondering why women would give in to a man she normally wouldn't give time to, in fears of not having anyone. Even with men looking for that easy lay that may not be some one he would want his friends to meet. Slow down, this isn't a dating race. Most of us want dating the old fashion way, but times have changed. There is no harm if a lady asked a guy out these days and guys that doesn't mean she will go all the way either. Flower, candy ( sugarfree) a bottle of wine, still are fun to get. If money is tight go dutch( For you non -dutch you each pay your own way.). Make the true gift to each other, "time spend together". Remember just because you went on afew dates together doesn't mean she or he wants more then just that a friend to date. Don't set yourself up to get hurt , if he or she doesn't want to take it to the next level ( kissing, touching, love making). As men are known to be the ones that get the ball rolling in a relationship. We women know 9 out 10 times it is us who makes it happen or not. I find older men need a kick start, push or a plain kick in the butt to start it up. For me flirting, teasing can be fun and done in a way that is not mis leading. How by tell him straight out what you want from him, no games, are there others you are seeing. I believe life is mean to be fun,not all work with little play. Be thick skinned, guard yourself at all times. Be open and honest with yourself then others. That is how you "Take charge of your feelings!!" I want to know what you think?

Wishes, thanks for your comments. I was upset when I first posted this and your comments are well taken. It just amazes me how many people don't stand up for themselves. I know I am a very strong woman and I enjoy building relationships with people. With travel so easy today and communications, voice and cam even easier and cheap. We can get to know the people of this world. Soon we can have translator software, that can let us talk to people of different languages. Hey Wishes we never have talking in the chatroom , why is that? Come chat with us.

I think alot of it is knowing what you want from someone, from life, love, the friendship itself. And you get that from knowing yourself first, from trusting yourself. Respect above all else...honesty goes hand in hand with that.
