Help me identify this tree.

This photo was taken today and the tree is on one of the main streets.
The intensity of the yellow flower is over whelming, but I have no idea what it is or where to go to find out what it is.
I will gladly fix you a sumptuous dinner at any dinner table you choose. I am a great cook.

I prefer to prepare steamed spinach.
I don't do red meat

This meal is a surprise, and a delight to the palate.

But so far, I haven't gotten a definitive answer. I will continue to look and then award the prize winner.
