Going to Europe

At the end of the March I will be taking a 14 day transatlantic cruise on a RCL ship. I have to admit that this is one of the best deals I have ever found. At first I had a balcony cabin for $1,399.00, not bad for 14 days (less than $100.00 a day for a balcony ). Then they dropped the prices to $449.00 for an inside guaranty, I could not turn that down, so I downgraded. I own some RCL stock so via the Shareholder program I got a $250.00 credit. So I am getting a 14 day transatlantic cruise for $200.00, not bad even if I say so myself.
I will be sharing my cruise with you. I will post photos and post a cruise log. I hope can give you some ideas and encourage you to take a cruise.
I also hope to be able to share deals with you when I find them on line.
Take Care
Captain Jack

Karen;

Stay tuned and I will be giving tips and when I or Patti find a deal I will post it on my blog. Patti found a cruise in the Washington Post on a River Boat. The advertised price in the paper (Online only) was $499.00 for 5 days/4 Night. THat was a miss print and it should have been $2,499.00. The Steam Ship company honored the price and everyone else was telling what a deal they got at $2,499.00.

So when we find a good price I will let everyone know.

Take Care
The Captain

lothringia;

Why are you not cruising? The transatlantic we are taking was going to stop in Ireland, but they dropped the port. There are hundreds of cruises out of England.

I do admit that I take my computer and some sea days I do a little work (pays for the trip). I saw one woman that all day long was on her computer, why did she not just stay home and safe the hundreds of dollars for unlimited internet.

Now as far a the cruise that is a great idea. When I get more people reading the blog we will start something going. I would also like a Russian cruise.

If you (a Mermaid) are on a rock then it is Denmark and we are not going there.

Now what is a Mermaid doing in West By God Virgina? I live about 10 minutes from all kinds of Mermaids, we even have them on our phone book. So guess where I am.

I lived in White Sulfur Spring for almost a year when I was younger. That is a good ways south of you.

I enjoyed reading each of your Blogs. Great Idea. The past couple of years I have gained an interest in taking a cruise. Think it would be great. Welcome...Captain Jack.
