Do they have a beautiful sweet aroma, open at dusk and close after the sun gets warm? If so, those are moon flowers and I love them. I had to quit growing them by the patio because the smell affected Joe's breathing. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Oh, and if they are moon flowers, you can sit and watch them unfurl and open up as it starts to get dark. Fascinating. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

They appear to be Moon flowers. We got some seeds from my Mom many years ago. They do okay in Florida's sandy soil but not as well as they do in Texas. Fossil Non ego te hic placere

Nice flowers. 😀. Pat knows her flowers. Actually, I have seen moon flowers around for most of my life. My grandmother had a big bed of them along the road and also by the porch. They perfume the air at sunset! I had them under my living room windows and would just open the windows in the evenings for the cooler air and aroma to come into the house. LOL..... did you just call me a blooming idiot? Actually, I have seen moon flowers around for most of my life. My grandmother had a big bed of them along the road and also by the porch. They perfume the air at sunset! I had them under my living room windows and would just open the windows in the evenings for the cooler air and aroma to come into the house. Elaine Shuel
