How It Goes

After reading RickieDee's poem today, I responded in kind about what I was feeling. After completing the poem, I realized, I was talking about SFF and all the going ons here. Again, I felt it said alot more than I had intended. We so readily see others finding faults , the twisted truths, and the negative hearts. Yet, we are not immune to falling into the same trap.......

Most people can't see infront of their nose
So how it came, it differently goes
The perspective of those outside
Is that the truth lies somewhere inside

Outside, the truth is plain as day
Inside ones heart, it changes it's way
Ironically, the truth is known by those
Yet, how it comes, it differently goes.

People don't seem to want to understand that their truth, doesn't give them any rights. That which we do with our truth, must stand on it's own, even if the truth be known!

Classy, I live in the State of Kansas!

There are some people here, who see it very clearly when it's not about them.
It amazes me, how they can see it one way about others and a different way about themselves.
Most of us, honestly don't care which version is the truth. What we care about is not being duped by either side.
Most here agree that putting down others reflects just as poorly on the person doing it as it does on he person they're doing it to. However, most people are eager to find an excuse to put others down if circumstances involves them. Some think their version of the truth, gives them that right.
The argument I try to make, isn't about what is the truth. It's about the "Golden Rule"

winkay,

I guess these people need to justify their own opinion by agreement.
For most, disagreement, seems to entrench them even further into their own truth.
The truly funny thing about these people is that those they oppose the most, are the ones they most act like. Geez...you'd think they'd learn

Very good Jiminy..... to me when all is said & done self dignity trumps all else.....not the false kind for others sake! I was taught....I am only as worthy as I treat others.

Some believe in destiny, some believe in fate. I believe that happiness is something we create

Red....
You must be right, the uncertainty of oneself and the uncertainty of the truth provides the basis for the uncertainty of self dignity.
For to know oneself, is to know the truth.
