The Ends Justify The Means

The ends justify the means....Why do people agree with this statement when it to their ends.... and abhor the statement when the they disagree with the ends.

In the new political atmosphere of the world the ends justify the means has reached a new low.

In Egypt, In Syria, In Iraq.....the Muslim Fundamentalist have discovered the means to come to power.

First and foremost overthrow current regimes. Do so with a coalition of Christian, Jews, Capitalists, Communists, and Americans. Depose of a Shah, Prince, Dictator or Fascist in the name of free elections and self government. There is a Muslim Fundamentalist understanding that no single group has the power overthrow the current regime and yet no single group has the power to overthrow the Muslim Fundamentalists once the current regime is out of power.

Okay, so what does that say about us........
In America, the Republican Party, believes the ends justifies the means. They accept a coalition of the Moral Majority, Tea Party, Libertarians, Anarchists, Patriots, NRA, John Birchers, Klans, Pro-lifer, Anti-environmentalist, and the wealthy. They do so for the sole purpose of overthrowing the current regime.

The question you need to ask yourself is who's behind this coalition? There is too much diversity, too much conflicting interest within this coalition to make it work. So....When the ends becomes known will we ever find out who has the real power that created the means?

Obama just today told Egypt not to worry about paying back the billion dollar debt they owe the U. S.

Isn't that getting it done?

Railroad....I say... fence off the Muslim world, and let them terrorize themselves to extinction. Too bad neither party would agree with me. I just don't think it possible to persuade them, help them, or conquer them. As long as we are there, we will be the enemy...as the enemy we simply divert their attention from the real enemy within.

Hi Jiminy: As a rule I don't think countries should get involved with other countries' politics or religions, but of course there are exceptions. I think we should send a drone or a team of special forces immediately to deal with Assad before he wipes out the entire Syrian population.

What is the result of foreign aide other than getting it shot back at our soldiers? Where is Harry Truman?

Not sure I'd blame this all on the Republicans and I wouldn't say they are the only party that caters to special interest groups.

(I also don't think the Republican party has anything to do with some of the groups you included in your list.)
