Trump, Kaepernik and the NFL.....

Response to leaf....
Well, I think you missed the point. Collin Kaepernik... was not the issue of the statement. Trump statement was not directed at Kaepernik, because he's black.
It wasn't even directed at him, as a person, or an NFL player..

Trump has gotten away with attacking the media, he has a base that wants to agree with him.....so, this statement was an indirect attack on the media and the handling of that news.

But Trump is an idiot and an egomaniac, Figuring he can do the same thing with other institutions. Leverage them too.

This attack was not on Kaepernik... was not on blacks, was not on athletes. It was an attack on all employed public figures, that don't know their place.
The key word is employed.. and the statement was directed at employers

The key to understanding Trump's leverage was when he asked fans to get up and leave the stadium, when a player does not stand for the anthem. Are you stupid not to realize WHO that is directed art.
It's not direct at the player.... it's directed at the owner. Trump is trying to leverage ownership. Leverage the employer.... not the employee.

But, in this case Trump bit off more than he can chew..
He attacked the NFL, and it's ownership.

Trump is outsides the lines, trying to put himself inside.

I could care less what the NFL players do outside the lines... Just what they do inside the lines matter.

Trump may be President.. may be Commander and Chief...
But NOT in my Chief's Kingdom...... Go Chiefs

Trump wants to be the quarterback.....Trump wants to play nasty.. Then put on a helmet, and step between the lines!
You think Harvey was a "bad azz" hurricane, in Houston..... well.....I love to introduce you to Justin Houston or J.J. Watts...

The NFl owner that gives Trump the greatest support is Robert Kraft, the owner of the NFL Champions.. the New England Patriots...Everyone needs to read his statement about Trump.

Love it when people call Trump derisive..... there has NEVER been a President that has brought people together more than Donald Trump..... Problem is they are being brought together in being negative towards him.
Watch what the NFL does...... Total solidarity.......not only the NFL but every single sports franchise in the United States. Every single sports organization. college or pro's... let the protests begin. See what happens....

Owners and players fight like cats and dogs....... Not now......All for one, one for all.

The Country is responding to the White Trash President. It's growing daily, you could say snowballing. Is anyone surprised?

Who doesn't appreciate fighting the good fight!

Get your popcorn.

There is no disrespect in kneeling during a song. Disrespect would be disrupting the song with very loud flatulence.

Abracadabra

Okay it's about racism... It's about the reason they kneel, and it' s not about disrespecting the flag. lets have that fight....
Ya right...

It's a about control.. it's always about control....

Trump, It's not about racism, he doesn't care what they kneel for , and Trump disrespects the flag,, everytime I see him.
It about disrespecting Trump, not the flag...It's about how Trump gets people to do what he wants them to do. Trump went after the owners
He misfired on this one.. big time.

Okay let's make it about racism......and racism mania.
The problem with racial protests
.. is they protest without a solution.
and a protest that gets them anything... only leads to further protests, there's is no solution. to stop the protesting... getting rid of Trump, or the police force, or emptying the jails... does nothing to solve racism in this country.
You can't "solve" racism......
I don't want to see color when i look at someone else... All the white racists can tell me, those folks are black, and I can ignore them as idiots.
So that's not my problem,
My problem when not wanting to see the color of a person's skin..... is that blacks tell me they're black. Blacks tell me to see them as blacks....I can't ignore that.
Asian don't do it, Hispanics don't do it.
What you don't get is the white racist tries to make it about them, when there is no them. Blacks try to make it about Us... when all there is... is US.

Like I said in Charlottevile.....
the KKK protested the right thing for the wrong reason.
Racial protestors.. protest the wrong thing for the right reason.
If you can understand that.....you can understand what I'm talking about.

Yes, it is about racismand disrespect for a country that has white people in it. Now it includes hatred for stanzas and verses about slavery that are in the anthem but not included in the song that is sang.
Sporting events are about taking peoples minds off politics, daily strife that depress us, and a moment of freedom, to breath fresh air. It is not meant to add more separation among people but to unite them.

Kaepernik has been kneeling for awhile now. It's odd that when for the first time the world may be right on the brink of a nuclear war does Trump decide to make this a big issue. Is this just another of Trump's distractions?
