Thank You...for saving my honor. Well... that's when I lost it... Kissinger was amazing.....I didn't know he was still alive.. We heard stories of McCain. Not being release from Hanoi when he could have been.. but I didn't know what happened until today.. I lost it .. when Kissinger didn't know what McCain would have thought about his decision not to accept the North Vietnam offer of his release.... I lost it because McCain's response to Kissinger was beyond real.....It stuck a chord deeper that I had realized I thought today... I wanted to thank McCain for saving OUR honor. |

All the speeches were amazing... Megan McCain to Obama..... But only Obama could do what he did....Say it and exemplify it..at the same time. Be Presidential..... say it all... and at same time.. without animosity... Challenge US... Admonish US.....and Praise US... His message was clear.....I pity those that couldn't understand it..I pity those who couldn't feel it. I pity those that couldn't hear it......... Thank You President Obama... for making me proud.. Thank You for showing the way...Thank you.. if just for the moment... bringing Us together and giving US back our country. Those who could not hear.. who could not feel....who could not join in... You will reap what you sow... In both this life and the next.

Yes.... it is a conspiracy.. A conspiracy of all our institutions. A conspiracy of all Living past Presidents, Vice Presidents and institutional leaders. A conspiracy of News media. It is a bi-partisan conspiracy. A conspiracy of truth and integrity..of country and honor. It's a conspiracy of Decency..... It's a conspiracy about For whom the Liberty Bells tolls.....You can not comprehend it's meaning ... You cannot comprehend who it announces... and the ringing victory which has no vanquished.... You can not hear it.. you cannot feel it... you can not understand it..... because it tolls for End of YOU.

I was thinking that last time I felt so emotionally drained.. and cried .. not for myself .. but for something greater than myself.. I remember.and thought how could anyone.. not see it, not feel it... How could anyone want to kill that "Old Yeller" dog.. How could anyone say .. It was just a DOG.. It's was Rabid... We do things... that we hate to do....The reason doesn't make it any easier Some of US do things.... we love to hate.....And the reason doesn't matter.

The sanity displayed in the speeches was like a drenching rain after a drought.......I hope the contrast goes a little way to fill the wells.

I think this situation was different. Much more like the despot and tyranny he faced up to during his life .. but NEVER in America. Most of US don't understand our core values.. The commonality of those core values, created by being American..It's not uniquely American.. But As Americans we have been exposed.. in an American way... Our parenting, our belief in GOD, our democracy, our flag, our country..Our fights our joys. OUR FAMILY. Its not obvious to US what it is.. we wear it like our skin.. An American skin. We talk of the different clothes to wear. we argue about it, we get to choose.. but our American skin stays with US.... no matter the clothes. the clothes we wear doesn't make the man..Nor does it make a Country. In the cells of Hanoi.. McCain was stripped of his uniform, his clothes, his his choices and his freedom. He was forced to rely on his AMERICAN SKIN....A skin forged in his own history and in our history....It was his constant challenge, not to lose his life.. but more important...not to lose his skin...When it came to it.. His skin was his life... it's was all that mattered... His skin and Our skin... When asked by Kissinger..... his response.. That you for saving my Honor,,, Was far more extensive than that... It was "Thank you, for saving "My Skin". One MUST ask themselves, like McCain did... How their core values and principles conform to their ideology and their actions..Do they have "skin" in the game. With Trump there was no forgiving, there was no letting bygones be bygones, there was no understanding or retracting........Trump had crossed the line of no return....Trump was trying to "skin" US........ It was his "Emperors New Clothes".. that revealed his skin... He could not cover it up...and he could not grow new skin....Trump's skin is not AMERICAN. If you can't see it, in the heart...Do what you do best, and see it in the color of one's skin.. The Orange skin...That falls somewhere between the pale color of Royalty and the red face of lies and tyranny..

You cut your own throat and don't even know it.. How was it easy for you to understand the Trump bashing.... without ever a mention of his name? Is it any wonder to you.. that when anyone talks of LIES, dishonor, indecency, and tyranny.. they are talking about Trump.. without ever mentioning his name.. As YOU try and personify a Label.. by a redundant naming, over and over again until it sticks. Isn't it ironic and the goal... that the label, can be assumed without the naming. isn't that the essence of what you TRY to do.. History can not be changed....when labels and personification simply become interchangeable.. Like traitor... and Benedict Arnold or Judas.. You have not denied the personification of Trump.... You have acknowledge it and justified it! And NOW you can not change it.

I didn't miss it.....No one had to throw it in my face.. You throw out ideas into people's face and try to personify them...It doesn't work, because the basis doesn't work.. You just simply can't conceive of it happening on it's own.. The media, the liberals, the republicans traitors, the institutions of America... you assume have all created this personification of Trump.. You have to believe that .. because YOU continue to try to do it to others. If they can do it... then YOU can do it.. But here's the rub... here's your failure.....nobody has done it to Trump Trump has done it to himself. That is the basis.. and that's is the basis of your failure..

Good post Jiminy .. I caught the highlights of the ceremony. Yep Megan McCain, Barrack Obama and George W Bush did give us our Country back for a few minutes. Kudos
