Kavenaugh I have always said the Supreme Court situation as it applies to politics is the single greatest AMERICAN problem. Certainly we should be ale to agree that only the best and brightest should be Supreme Court Justices. We depend on them to control our worse basic instincts. Anyway a Supreme Court Justice, in the idealistic sense, should be able to see the GOOD in both the Liberal and Conservative ideology.... The weight of that good is applied to each case that comes before them...And the Constitution is the final rule book. There is no position in government that is more essential to be Bi-partisan. Trump has made the Kavenaugh nomination Partisan.. he admitted it..he promised it. Partisanship has aligned itself... It is for this reason and this reason ONLY that... I oppose Kavenaugh.. I would oppose an admitted Liberal judge .. equally as much. The premise to begin with.. created the current situation.. The situation should NEVER have occurred.. So what should the Republican Party.... Do given the current circumstances?... It's their worse case scenarios .. It's a Lose/Lose. |

Well the worse case scenario for the Republicans with Kavenaugh is to bring it up for vote in the Senate... either way it goes... Republican lose.. Republicans get him through and they lose vote....The don't get him through and they lose votes.. Every Republican senators that votes no matter which way they vote..... will lose votes At this point the best case is to cut their loses..... and not bring it up for a vote. I don't care about the sexual assault accusation... It doesn't matter..... The fact is... It NEVER SHOULD HAVE COME UP, as Kavenaugh never should have been nominated and once nominated.. the Republicans needed to boot him. There should have been a more moderate Conservative nomination.. One that would cause the democrats to look foolish trying to prevent the nomination...There are plenty of moderate conservative judges that would get some Democrat approval. The fact that the Kavenaugh's nomination is totally a Partisan nomination... alone should disqualify him.. Trump disqualified him by making the nomination totally Partisan.

It doesn't seem healthy that the veracity of Professor Ford's claims will be decided by 11 old, white men that are already on the side of Kavenaugh.........Shouldn't there at least be a couple of women ?

Like when it comes to black issues, and I'm told I can't comment because i don't know...what it is to be black..Or women's issues because I am not a women.. Yet blacks, women, and liberals can assume what 11 old conservative white men will do. What I have learned is not the label, the gender, or the diversity of things that guarantees a fair shake... People who are reasonable, honest, smart and have integrity...are always the better choice. No matter the label So be careful when you "label" 11 old conservative "white" men... For each of US is our own person....and old white men.. founded this country and have run it for over two-hundred years.. My agreement with these particular "white" men.... is I don't know how some of them can look themselves in the mirror. So As i watched Laura Ingram on Fox news last night... I wondered how the women on that show.. could look themselves in the mirror.. It was disgraceful....and dishonest..

By the way.. I also watched ....Rachel Maddow on MSNBC last night.....She interviewed Hillary Clinton...It was really good.. and honest.. Hillary Clinton showed a REAL human side.. That was humorous, humble, and flawed... It was an amazing contrast to our current President. Then I watched Laura Ingram... who misquoted, and made erroneous assumptions about .. what I just heard from Hillary Clinton For example... Hillary Clinton said there should be an FBI investigation...and it could be done in less than two weeks. Laura Ingram quoted Hillary as saying she demanded an investigation and a delay of two weeks. that is NOT what Hillary said..
