How "ugly" is Trump? I don't think in my entire life.. I have I used the word "ugly' to just describe someones looks... Upon seeing somebody or meeting somebody for the first time.. that word, ugly, never enters my mind. Nobody is "ugly" until they prove themselves to be ugly... Beauty works the same way....For me.. I can't just SEE beauty. I don't know how other people do it....but I can meet somebody and think they are "not very good looking"...That's the way I always put it....and then discover their beauty.... And sometimes see someone I think is "very good looking", only to discover their ugliness. Beauty and ugliness are both things one must feel instead of see. So to answer my question... How ugly is Trump? Trump is so "ugly" He makes "ugly" look good.. |

I don't know how other people think of it.. especially as it relates to gender. For me..... I find it really difficult to think of a women as "ugly"..and virtually impossible for me to think of a man as very good looking, or beautiful. I have always wondered if that is best way to describe someone's sexual orientation? Or is it just me? I know men call some women, by their looks "ugly". But I always wonder if that is just a "manly" facade? Like a man saying .. I wouldn't sleep with her she's too ugly....Like WTF? does that mean?..... If they go to bed to just count sheep.. Is one sheep and the hand worth ..two hands and a "bush"? LOL

I learned a great lesson decades ago while supporting my spouse at a crafts fair inside the mall. My spouse was a painter. In a display of her faith however she had painted a ceramic display of Jesus knocking at a door. She put a price tag on it of 'Free'. Many people saw it and never bothered to say a thing. Later in the afternoon one person finally spoke up asking...is it really free? I'll never forget the look on the person's face as it was wrapped up carefully and given to her. But the real gift that day was what my spouse did. She taught me a very valuable lesson without even setting out to do so. A few weeks later we participated in another event. We had casual conversation for a few minutes with several people. Then one young man came to the table with long hair and a ratty looking shirt. I would say he was in his early 20's. It would have been so easy to stereotype this man as just another out of date hippie. But the young man just blew me away with his intellect in a long conversation about God. I don't even remember how the conversation started. I've thought about that young man on and off for decades now. The interesting part is that as the man walked away we hurriedly searched for something appropriate to give him...as a token of our appreciation for the conversation. He just vanished and we never saw him again. But I remember that young man's love for God. We never did another craft fair. She gave away everything she had worked so hard to create. The gratitude she received was far more valuable than money. The bottom line...you know 'Ugly' when you see it.

Now I know some men will say I'm not right...Like she's ugly because she's too fat... But they don't see that as "fat fact logistics".... or a "crushing" acknowledgement.. that you don't know what "ugly is.. of not wanting to "work" for it, by being a "workalcoholic".... or as bad as the morning after usually gets.. you still don't want to be a "pancake" for breakfast!..... So "ugly" really has nothing to do with it.. So what it really is.. Is not wanting to give them the satisfaction from their being "ugly" (it's true no matter how you think of 'ugly")... and not wanting to give yourself the satisfaction from their being "ugly" (which is only true when you don't understand what ugly is).....LOL

There is no cost for ugliness....but the appreciation of beauty Beauty is free in the moment But there is a "cost" to own beauty.... and that "cost" is beauty's ugliness.

Taking this in a different direction...I've never found women who are perceived to be 'universally' beautiful, as beautiful. I think most would grasp what I'm talking about there. I do notice women when I'm out and about and occasionally I come across someone I am instantly attracted to. It is never some woman who is immaculately dressed. I can almost instinctively sense if a woman can easily laugh at themselves or handle some inconvenience with grace and patience. The best way I can describe these women would be that their hair might be tied up, out of the way as if they were preparing to mop the floor or work in the garden. They might be wearing clean cute shoes. A light jacket with a plaid hoodie and silver earrings and I might buy them dinner...LOL

Bravo... Where did that come from? Please don't do this to me.. I can accept your being senseless. That is...... until you make sense.

It's not a known viewing commodity.... It's clues, it's indicators, it's assumptions.. and then, most important, it's the actual discovery.

Never has the term 'UGLY AMERICAN' fit so well until we all got to know DONALD TRUMP!!! It fits him to a "t".

My gosh. Of course, mine was a backhanded compliment.. I found your first response VERY appropriate..Thinking there was something you finally understood... But not to my surprise.. you again became senseless... by explaining it. Which ends up showing your entire misunderstanding of both Shakespeare and this blog. Both Shakespeare, and my blog..... Try to explain how beauty can not be by diagnosis, as diagnosis can only measure it's ugliness..... as it can not be just by sight.....The "shiny object" is neither ugly by diagnosis or beautiful by just sight...In fact, It's distraction says nothing about the beauty of the object, but the "ugliness" of the viewer. "So may the outward.. show the least of themselves"

As you search for a common base understanding, so that YOU may expound and expand your narrow views, to others.... I find it "senseless" for YOU to ever use the word "esoteric".. Only in one's expanding horizons.. can horizons show it vast expanse

What is beauty..? I am a contradiction to the word... Beauty as a word that applies to others as an agreed view. I can certainly appreciate what other see as beautiful, but that to me doesn't mean beauty. Beauty to me is a broader form of love...of course people who I love are beautiful to me.. but how can I say.. I love that tree, or I love my car... It doesn't make sense, unless love is the beauty of it. For me, beauty can be anywhere.... but when I see it, and others don't..that simply makes it more beautiful for ME...For me, beauty doesn't need agreement or approval. In fact... just the opposite. Beauty can be a very selfish thing...Sometimes I try to share it, but most of the time.. I just keep it for myself.

The most beautiful things a person can find.....are the things that don't know they are beautiful.

Trump probably could use a make over.
