Night before Christmas Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the House Not a creature was stirring, not even the "louse" The legislature was hung by the shutdown with care, In hopes that St. Trump soon would be there; The Reps were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads; And Pelosi in her 'kerchief, and Schumer in a cap, All settled down for a long shutdown nap, When from the White House there arose such a clatter, They sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window they flew like a flash, to open their mouths and and throw up the Hash. The moon on "The Wall... Like new-fallen snow Gave the lustre to the Senate and the House below, When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But the elf, Ryan, and a caucus of eight tiny reindeer, With a Trump as the driver, so lively and quick, I knew in a moment... It wasn't a saint but their Schtick. |
