Have Faith in the DOJ

Barr asked that we trust him... I do..

Let me talk about a few things.
I know who I trust as soon as they open their mouth..As soon as they do something.
Maybe it's just a feeling.. but I don't thinks so, I have spent doing it..... It's about looking at intent and possibilities..

What we got to understand is the trust and not trust.... as to what Trump and his supporters do..... is all about agreement.. I can not do that. ....They trust Barr because they think he agrees with them????? I don't agreement for trust..

Obstruction of Justice for a President is not criminal.. but is impeachable. the DOJ can not charge a sitting President for obstruction of Justice....Mueller knows this....

What I heard from Barr about Congress.. Was don't ask me to do your job.......DO YOUR own job..and I'll do mine..

There are people in the Justice Department I trust... almost all of them. People past and present in the justice...may not agree with BARR but they all respect him... That's enough for me..
The people in the Justice,, may disagree, but their commonality is too strong.. to make disagreement the issue.

Seriously when it come down to Barr... I trust him.

In looking at possibilities...
There's far less a chance that Trump is using Barr..
Than the entire Justice Department is IN on Barr's nomination...is in on getting rid of Whitaker....Is in on moving this investigation.. Is in on playing Trump at his own game.....That in reality Trump isn't nominating Barr.. but the DOJ in nominating BARR.....They drew straws and Barr grabbed the short one..
Barr is wearing the wire......Rosenstein suggested.. just a different KIND of wire. Barr is playing the Trump game.... he's not lying to him... he's just not telling him the truth.
Sending TRUMP the Memo.. For What?....Think about it? WTF?
Maybe wrong.. and it's neither...but I'll choose the latter ..if I have to make a choice.......
No other nomination to the intelligence agencies or DOJ.. did I trust to stab Trump in the back... and if I didn't trust them and THEY DID.. but I trust BARR.. What the hell do you think that means?

It was interesting and I too fall on the 51% side of things. I didn't like all the answers but I did like the inference that he was too old now to worry about a career ending decision. That does give you some confidence, and given his family is one of lawyers I suspect he wouldn't take one for the team if it ruined their lives too. It's not his fault there are flaws in the special counsel law. But there are two important problems with this nomination. I do not accept his reasoning for the memo...but, I have no counter theory that I can claim is credible either. Also, his answer about jailing journalists who 'hurt the country' was deeply disturbing. Give this guy a copy of the Constitution!!! On that answer alone I wouldn't confirm...way too risky. Surely, surely we can find someone else...like James Comey.

Barr has obviously never read the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution, and when Feinstein asked a question referring to it, dipped his ignorance in batter and deep-fried it........

Did you see the part of Barr's hearing where Lindsay Graham asks him a question about Rosenstein and Barr is saying that he's not averse to digging into lengthy reports as he is himself, and Graham interrupts him by saying ...well, you know, Trump is a one pager......which wakes Feinstein up from her nap and she grins, then Barr pauses....obviously taken aback, then nods and says, yes, Trump is a one-page kinda guy and the lady behind him....his wife? smiles too......It's a bizarre moment.......Graham brings this up out of the blue......making fun of the president.......but isn't Graham usually his biggest defender?.........

It's funny how we hear things..
I've talked about Graham before.. He's playing with Trump....His game is called.. How to get rid of Trump.. maintain Trump's base.. and run for President.

Barr strikes me the same.. except he has nothing to gain...When listening to Barr's answers .. Democrats make an assumption..Hear the vagueness as a support of Trump's agenda..But my feeling is the vagueness is not for their ears ...but Trump's ears.

When the issue was not about Trump.. I saw Barr's honesty..and way of thinking.. That way of thinking does not conform to Trump...

When Session went through it... I saw some honesty and some policy.. And although I disagreed with the policy..... I accepted the honesty. And suggested his approval.

Barr is far more honest... Far less political...I just don't see Barr as political. Every answer politics seemed to have nothing to do with it.. Except those answers about Trump....It seemed to me.. those answer were vague because the truth would have hurt is appointment with Trump and Republicans. I thought he was far more careful with that... than with the Democrats.

Okay let me answer some of your questions...

Jailing journalists... The question was never to do that.. but he can not answer it YES.
Let me ask you .. Does a journalist have the right to run any story with partial facts. releasing "classified" information, and putting informant and undercover people in danger....something that is treasonous to the country?... Without repercussion?
To better answer the question.. review Barr's answer to Josh Hawleys question.. which were loaded. He could have answered them differently and come out smelling like a rose.. but did not..He understood the repercussions from Josh Hawley questions/... About freedom of information and dictating content for political reasons....and choosing sides...The idea Josh Hawley was expressing in regards to anti trust and monopoly was about ideas.. and how a minority opinion can be squashed by a majority opinion..... How the majority idea prevents competition from the minority idea.. the issue of Facebook and Google and Amazon and Tech Companies, and virtually all media are NOT political.. but he was trying to make it that way.

In regards to being recluded...Let.. me give an example. other than mandatory reclusion, the other type.. is an appearance of prejudice..
Would it not be true that any Trump appointee. in regards to Mueller investigation should be recluded?
Would it not be true that if Barr... underhandedly and conspiratorially got the nomination.. he should be recluded?

Think about it.. what is Barr's benefit about sending the memo.. becoming Attorney General.. A job, he said he didn't need.. which certainly is the truth, because nobody NEEDS that job at this time. except a mole...

I believe this to be DOJ and FBI sting operation.. The closest thing coming to wire tapping the President..The closest think to a real witch hunt...
BARR is NOT going to do TRUMPS bidding.. NO WAY.
Sessions.. would not DO IT..... Mattis would not do it.... Tillerson would not do it.. Kelly would not do it, Haley would not do it ......and the list goes on and on
Again, the Kavanaugh nomination was far more likely to do Trump's bidding and even that lying SOB.. WILL NOT DO IT.
And I Trust BARR.. more than any of those others..

My gosh.. as we think of Trump puling the strings.. about collusion, Russia, emoluments. etc etc....How is that working out for him? ....Nothing is working

Now let's take Mueller... in the same light of pulling strings... the Democrat House, the getting rid of Whitaker. the information releases. and the setup..
How is that working out for Mueller? Everything is working.
for Mueller it has never been about the information and evidence.. he could have made a report a year ago...But it wouldn't have worked a year ago.. too much against it.. So with Mueller it's not about the evidence.. It about the timing of the release..He had to wait this long..He had to hold his card to his chest and wait...he knew it wasn't going away and was only going to get worse fore Trump and better for him..

Understand this......Mueller knows more about the law and regulation of the DOJ and the special prosecutor..........than BARR does..
First..... Mueller is not going to just submarine Trump.. just to submarine him.. It ain't going happen. He's going to go by the LAW
Second.. Mueller's report will be self redacted..
Third.. The one person certain to know if Barr is Trump's puppets is going to be Mueller.....Mueller knowing that. ain't going to work out so well for BARR
Forth.. unlike with Whitaker.. with Barr.. this will all be worked out... before he even does his report..but he NEEDS Barr confirmed to make sure that happens. Without Barr he will not be ready to do his report.
Mueller is in control as the special prosecutor.. ...and Barr is the advisor and critic as the Attorney General....That's not the way it stated.. but that's the way it will be done..
Mueller NEEDS a DOJ person, a person who KNOWS the DOJ.. as Attorney General..

How is it possible for the number of DOJ people in Mueller's team.. past and present.... that no one is leaking? No one resigning.. or writing a book? No one is working against the Team..How is it possible in this government?

Believe me.. trust the DOJ......The people there are thicker than thieves.. that's how they catch thieves.
