It's all about Control I wrote a blog... and a response about control How Republicans can't stand the thought of Democrat control How Democrats can't stand the thought of Republican control My point was that in our American Democracy it CAN'T be about who controls it.. How did it happen.. where's it going? How the Hell did Trump become president? I wrote leaf my response in the comment section. |

The control thing has been a pendulum swing for many years..Republican didn't like it,, but could live with it as long as they thought it could swing back to them. So for the last 80 years Republicans have lived with it. Back and Forth it went..Not a totally bad thing.. But when Obama got elected.. It changed everything..It became clear to Republican that a successful Obama Could prevent the swing back to them. They hated Obama for it.. .It was never about Obama's policies. It was about the direction of the country. Obama wasn't a socialist,, wasn't a "black man" wasn't a Muslim, wasn't born in a foreign country. The problem with Obama was he was an American and a Democrat, who, if given the chance, could appeal to everybody. Republican couldn't allow him to be seen that way, especially by their own party members. They obstructed, and lied about Obama.. it became their only goal They did one hell of a job..That's what the set the stage for denying the truth, and making the truth whatever you wanted it to be. Republican got a toy to play with for success. They once could stretch the parameters of the truth.. Now they can just blow the truth out of the water. they proved they could do it. Trump became their trophy President for that success.. The election of trump was not a policy matter, but proof positive of their success They thought they could continue it.... But That never stood a chance as the Republican "house" was now built on sand, obstruction, and Lies. When Obama got elected, the Republican party set out to r*ape America, It was not about the crime,, It was about power and control, as every r*ape is ...They never realized.. they could f*ck US from behind.. but couldn't come with it when they had to look US in the eye.

Obstruction began with McConnell and ends once he leaves politics. If, we all good depend on congress to simply vote America could function, and it would be moderate government. But until Moscow Mitch leaves politics its more of the same I'm afraid. I think many republican senators are frustrated with Mitch because of his abuse. I don't think Biden will get him to change. But with Trump gone...Mitch becomes of face of failure. I don't think there's any doubt about that.

I think we'll know by next January if the GOP is going to lose even more seats in the senate.
