Black America Wake UP I'm tired of listening .. Voter suppression, Racism, Black rights, Police Brutality, White Supremacy. Although we come along way and still a long way go....that's not the issue right now.. The fight has changed. 's not about Building Back Better, or making better, or making more fair. not about what we can win.. 's about what we can lose.. 's not Changing America.. about keeping America from changing. Blacks want and deserve a better life.. but if you think this fight is about getting that....'s a fight you could lose. This isn't going be a status quo if we lose this.. What you could lose by losing this? Is far greater than anything you think you can win. Get on board with saving our Democracy. Understand you will the greater if we don't. |

Well frankly Cricket your characterization here is predictably, way off the mark. But there is no need to re-debate the issue of grasping the reality of the electorate. You have to get involved with the electorate to understand the sentiment and the issues. You can only get so far from the sidelines. A lot of people do not have the time for that. But one thing we can all learn is to reflect on what we witness in focus groups and especially the Iowa caucuses. Even in polling we see stark evidence of 'willing ignorance'. It begs the question...who is REALLY asleep?

It begs the question...who is REALLY asleep? but you normally see the gist of it...so i'm grateful for that "willing ignorance"..That a good answer for not only what your talking about but what i'm talking about too..In fact .. I am "Way off the mark" because of your willing ignorance Willing ignorance is not just ignorance.. People can be ignorant..but it takes a reason to be a willing ignorant.. How seeing the trees blurs the view of the forest. How ones lifestyle, wealth, prejudices, employment, friendships, family, activism, plans, expectations, and ways to take advantage......creates willing ignorance... Black America and their activism have made gains swimming up stream ....but those gains are just water under the bridge... and more gains are needed. So you can't stop swimming...Which works fine as long as the river is flowing.. But you got to see it...When someone is trying to build a dam up river.. Swimming has no meaning if there is no water to swim in. I am not pinning this on blacks.. it pretty much everybody... if you can't appreciate what you have, you can never appreciate what you want.. You think your activism.. is about those things you can change,....It's a fight you can't stop fighting.. Same with blacks. Black are fighting a battle for a BETTER life for BLACKS..... You are fighting for a better life for everybody.. It's the same "willing ignorance" Both of you are taking the fight to THEM... What you don't see.. is THEY are back at your house and robbing you blind.. Of course, some of THEM are just ignorant.. but those you call "willing ignorant" are just "willing" to rob you blind. Losing what you have, is never worth gaining what you want.. You are fighting the wrong battle..You Battle to win.... but now, in this case, You need to battle to STOP THE STEAL....The irony of that is so obvious, and Trump's best tenet.. Trump is going to beat you to the punch every time.. They are going to STOP THE STEAL, so you don't realize what they are stealing from you. Trump even steals the slogans... that should be yours.
