How does one know what is the Truth?

Critical thinking rarely reveals the truth.
It's not really the job of being a critical thinker.

Critical thinking reveals the LIE not the truth.

Truth is always an assumption when critical thinking has NOT revealed a LIE.

I don't understand how some people think...in thinking they KNOW what the truth is..... At best by revealing the Lie we only know the possibility.

Be a critical thinker..to reveal the Lie...unless you are a total idiot.. Critical thinking understands what part of an assumed truth is the lie.. What makes a part truth does not make the whole truth.

I told a Trump supporter that critical thinking doesn't prove Trump is wrong. that understanding all the evidence, doesn't Negate the evidence that's true. So being critical of either Republicans or Democrats is not to determine they are wrong. But this I ALWAYS assume AS true... If you do not think critically of either Party.....YOU are Always wrong.
If you believe you know what is the truth about immigration, abortion, inflation, religion, racism, and government.....You are NOT a critical thinker.

"Truth" is a dicey word if you think it connotates ultimate truth, or unerring truth......It's a word I stay away from.....it's even more problematic than "common sense".......

Common sense says look at recent US History if you want some political truth ...

Recently Dems did The Affordable Healthcare Act ... kind of a big deal. And Republicans did pretty much nothing that benefits Americans, unless you consider "culture war" a benefit.

Trump did trillions in tax cuts for Global Businesses with no mandate for hiring in the USA ......and then Trump did his Trade War with China so he could tax Americans through Tariffs on practically everything we buy.

The search for truth should be neverending. It should alterable, it should moving, and it should be questioned.
The idea that one's truth can be maintained from youth to old age is impossible for me to consider without questioning one's humanity and reasoning.

How does one know what is the Truth ...

I'll never forget it ... when I was around 20 years old a high school acquaintance / wanna be poet sat in the kitchen of my first apartment and said ............ "one person looks at a tree and sees beauty; another person looks at the same tree sees an ugly tree".

Good luck finding it

In simple really, It's a truth... that beauty cannot be set aside as a truth
but truth can be found.....
When beauty can be found in the ugliness
