Neat pictures, Karin! Frenchie...they flew in Spam and other supplies and dropped them down to the passengers stranded without power on this cruise ship and slowly towed the disabled ship back to San Diego with all passengers onboard. It's a huge thing isn't it? Able-bodied passengers had to climb 9 flights of stairs to then stand in line for limited food. Many less fit passengers were stuck in their cabins with no light/power and unable to climb the stairs to get food. Some passengers kindly shared with less fit passengers. I heard of at least one woman who was unable to take her insulin because she didn't have enough to eat. The conditions sounded pretty miserable.
