Foto friday planes,trains and automobiles 1.The Southern Cross bunkered in Brisbane. 2.My very first flight looking out over the wing. 3.The zig zag railway steam train. 4.Machinery at quarrie in New Zealand. 5.Looking out from the hotel window at Sydney Airport. 6.My favourite, it might be a little lawn mower but it sure has some handy uses lol.

Hi Wonderious. I'm with Ray on this one -- I'm crazy about trains, especially steam trains; but I also love older aircraft, and that tri-motor almost looks like an old Ford Tri-Motor. In truth, all the photos are just great. I spent three hours today out on the north dike wall here in Richmond, BC, looking over to the airport and photographing airliners and seaplanes. Some of them came out OK. I even got a shot of a garbage truck (it counts for both an auto and a plane because it has four wheels and flies!!!!!!  ). But I haven't gotten any train shots. I'm going to try in the morning though. There's a very slow freight that comes through Richmond each morning around 10 AM, if I can catch it. I'm going to wait to post my entry until I give it a try.
