Foto Friday - Through the Tunnel This tunnel is what remains of a movie set across the street from us. It was constructed of cargo/ storage containers and a mock stone facade for filming the movie "Escape to Witch Mountain" The “tunnel” remains and is part of the local historical railway which has various excursions on restored steam engines. One of the excursions is a dinner murder mystery trip. I have never taken this “trip” but I am sure the tunnel is part of the ambiance. Getting up there was a bit of a hike for a great grandma but I managed well, although slower than in the old days. Spiritwoman ^i^ |

Spirit: Nice picture. I love tunnels. You mention a "Murder Mystery Excursions". My daughter lives in Colorado and is part of an acting troup that does the murder mysteries on the Royal Gorge narrow guage railway. The acting group does many different venues and often travel out of state for special events. This is her hobby but she does have a real job too. LOL. I would love to take the train you mentioned. Very unusual subject metter for the letter T. Great shot of the tunnel. We went on a murder mystery dinner last Saturday night. It was The Mafia Murder Mystery and was great fun, we enjoyed it immensely. Alfie...

Wouldn't I love to see a great steam and smoke-belching locomotive come roaring out of that tunnel! I'm nuts about railroads of all types. "Life isn't fair, but it beats whatever comes in second." -- Gentleben
