Photo Monday - Clouds and Storms

I took this picture when I first arrived in Puerto Vallarta last Feb. It was later in the day but not yet sunset time. Winter is the dry season there but it's still a tropical climate so every day brings some clouds and often showers. The lighting makes this one of my favorite PV photos. It is not enhanced.

Spectacular shot, Spirit, I love the reflection on the water.

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

It did end up being the perfect combination of all things tropical.

I can't remember if it actually did rain but as anyone who has spent tie in tropical climates will tell you getting caught in the rain is a daily occurrence.

Love how you framed the shot with the palm trees.
It's amazing how they were just there - open the sliding door to the balcony, point and click.

Spectacular shot, sw.
It's gloomy but the dun still shines.

Thank you. No storms the next day though. It was the usual haze in the AM giving way to sun then clouds gathering over the mountains by later in the day.

One of those scenes that created themselves. All I had to do was take my phone and snap it.

Nothing like the tropics - in the winter anyway.

We usually spend most of our time there on the beach looking both during the day and after dark. It was easy when all we have to do is look out the window.

Great idea. I thought about painting a mural on the side facing the street but never got it done. I'm not sure what the city would have to say. Out here I painted some large outdoor works. Since they are removable I can get way with it - although out here no one would care.
