Made It
Arrived in Puerto Vallarta today. This is the view from my balcony. Margaritas at the restaurant on the beach tonight and looking forward to a beach day tomorrow.

Margaritas are about the only alcoholic drink I actually like, especially strawberry ones.

So far I am. I seem to have just jumped into getting by in Spanish and paying in Pesos without the usual couple of days needed for adjustment.

There are a few places I like. The one we are at this year is near the top. It's just south of town but an easy bus ride and has a private beach with a break water for a swimming area. Winter is definitely best. temps around 75-85 and plenty of sunny days. Summer is very hot, humid and the rainy season. My ideal would be to winter here, spend spring and fall in CA and summer in MA. This past year I came close but the stays here and in MA were only a couple of weeks.
