I know several who carry.... and I don't blame them at all. In this day and age, being prepared is smart. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

My home, Oregon, allows open carry. Not only do I not want to "trigger" snowflakes by showing a big, bad "assault pistol" (MSM's new name for a semi-auto), I don't really want to be identified as a first target by some nutjob. I'd rather be a "surprise" for some asshole who thinks we're sitting ducks. Puns were, of course, intended.

Up here in the great White North (oops sorry snow flakes) Land of Neutral Color we are not allowed to carry, but I can tell you, my protection device is never far from me. Good post kneedtwo.
