With the two horrible shooting this weekend, I see folks screaming for more laws. How about we just enforce the ones we already have? Let's restore the respect of our law enforcement officers, and let them do their jobs.
It's always been a bit of a precarious balance, but when two officers arrested a man for breaking into a house, that he claimed was his own but it took a while to establish that fact, the POTUS declared the police acted stupidly, and thus began even more erosion of law and order in our country.
When I look at which party promotes open borders and free stuff for illegal immigrants and which cities controlled by that party have tent slums of homeless, it makes me definitely want to vote for the other party's candidates.
When I see all my children and my grandchildren working at decent paying jobs, since we got a Republican POTUS, when four years ago several of them were unemployed and couldn't find work, I want to see that continue.

Jack, that is an age old trick..... write a quoted response to attack someone, then delete it. It shows up in the "where I'm quoted" section, but nobody else usually sees it. Don used it quite frequently.
So let me respond to the comment. I am not blaming Obama for the shootings at all..... but he sure did start the snowball rolling down the hill for racism and violence against the police officers of our nation. Not only the Cambridge affair, where he didn't even need to comment, to the Ferguson shooting.
Of course, the second half of my post was ignored, but the difference in the two parties' philosophy is so obvious, that I cannot support the Democrats at all any more.

Criminal behavior is motivated by the criminal themselves. It's not the fault of POTUS 44 OR POTUS 45. We've had shooting where Amish schoolgirls, Republicans, cops, minorities, country music fans, etcetera have been targeted. An evil and sick mind will find an excuse. Why would anybody shoot up a Garlic Festival?

We must reject the idea that every time a law's broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions. Ronald Reagan

Your comment brings up a saying my mother had.....I can't quote it, because it wasn't in English, but the gist of it is that you reveal yourself by your assumptions of others......I deleted my comment because I realized that there is no point in attempting to communicate with cultists.....
My only perception of you is that you live a very active and interesting life in a beautiful place. However, for some reason you chose to attack others who do not agree with the way you believe spiritually, politically, or philosophically with caustic words of criticism. Then you become defensive and attack more vigorously when others respond in kind.
It's much better to just express a view of the situation being discussed, than to attack others for differing views.

When there is an election, people are going to vote one way or the other or not at all. Either way, there is going to be name-calling. I am fine with being a deplorable. It is better than the alternative.

It is interesting how the word Hypocrite by haters is used to describe people of faith. Haters try to expose what's wrong with you because they are jealous of everything that's right … You gotta love the ones who criticize you, for they are, but simply prisoners of their own jealousy. So now we are cultist and deplorables. Oh Well!

Liar! You attack all the time. Back-peddling wont help.
