A Tragedy in SFF I am Judy, a life long friend of Jamie's from Oklahoma. Doug and I came down to spend the holidays with Jamie in Texas. We did not want her to spend Thanksgiving in Texas alone. We had a wonderful Day. Doug went hunting and Jamie & I had an opportunity to spend hours in "woman talk". She told me about a gentleman from SFF that she had met and fallen in love with and was so excited because he was coming from Bryan to Houston to spend time with her on Friday. On Thanksgiving night we had to call the Paramedics for help. They took Jamie to ER and she was admitted with a blood clot in her brain. She went into a coma and never recovered. In the early hours of today (the 24th)she was pronounced dead. She is being cremated and ashes sent to her aunt in Oklahoma City. I have no way of knowing her friends in chat but wanted to let everyone know what had happened and ask that you all pray for her new friend. He loved her very much and needs to be lifted up in prayer to help him through his time of grieving. Thank you for making Jamie feel welcome in SFF. Judy |

I didn't know Jamie but what a terrible tragedy this is. I just hope she didn't have to suffer too much at the end. It's lucky you came to visit when you did. I am so sorry.

OMG how tragic! I just met her in chat the other night for the first time and exchanged some pleasant banter. My condolences to her family.

So sad to here this. I chatted with Jamie in the chatroom and she was such a sweet lady. She was so excited to have found that special person in her life.
