Today's harvest

We have been away for a couple of days so found a decent amount harvest waitig for us.
The potatoes are 'freebies' from a couple of plants which planted themselves among the peas and beans.

THE POTATOES JUST PLANTED THEMSELVES? NICE.

I planted the beans and peas in the ground where we had potatoes last year. There was so much slug damage in the potatoes that I was not able to get them all out intact. Some of the 'bits ' I left behind sprouted and produced the potatoes you can see. There are another 4 or 5 plants behind the runner beans which I will harvest later.

Do you mind sharing some of the potatoes with me, Bond? Where I am, it is not permitted to plant a vegetable garden. One zucchini would be welcome, too! Your harvest looks good and healthy.

Why in the world would vegetables not be allowed in a garden?

This is a landscaped golf resort with trees and flower beds. Maybe, I could grow cherry tomatoes in a pot on one deck. In Germany I can grow whatever I want. But that is out of reach with the "deadly microbe".
