This is so far from a Witch-Hunt I now laugh when I hear Trump or some of his supporters use the phrase. Thirty-five people are now caught up in this with several facing prison and if you add the resignations of appointees and career civil servants you still only scrape the surface of what we are talking about here. This has been a coordinated attack on the country from American subversives for some time and some of them invited the Russians into this and damage is deepening daily. Just last night I learned of yet another shocking reality. Adam Schiff, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee has publicly stated his intention to release official transcripts to Mueller. I have been wondering why this hadn't been done almost immediately after the new congress was sworn in. Clearly the refusal of the committee to do this under republican control was obstruction, in my view, and I believe GOP congressman Devin Nunes is complicit in a coordinated cover-up here. How that gets untangled I do not know...but he was involved with the transition team and his bizarre statements, committee leadership and even his personal behavior raise deep concerns already. Anyway, what I learned is that the Intelligence Committee cannot refer the transcripts to Mueller until republicans appoint members to the committee. They haven't appointed anybody!!! Many, many, many other committees have been staffed. This is OBSTRUCTION...and it is SUBVERSIVE. This should alarm the country....we're talking about the INTELLIGENCE committee here...not Indian Affairs. This needs to be HEADLINE NEWS with CONSTANT MEDIA HOUNDING of the House GOP leadership until this happens. What is going on here? I'm wondering, a LOT, exactly who among the GOP caucus is even available for those appointments...and I'm wondering what their record actually is. Let that sink in...just how big is the CANCER in the congress? We are watching the biggest scandal in American history unfold...and I think this thing has the potential to spiral out of control beyond belief. Mueller has to stay on the job as long as it takes and uncover all of it. Those investigations that are lurking in the shadows have to take center stage. Curing cancer is a painful endeavor for sure, and we just might be facing it. Don't be surprised to see other high profile cabinet resignations no later than spring. I don't think anybody wants to get out at the wrong time..but they surely have to be looking for an exit ram

Further, I most certainly agree with your characterization here. I long ago abandoned attempts to intellectually engage with those people. It is far worse here than it actually is in the public domain. But it's certainly not a pretty picture out there either as you say. Social media does expose a lot of it. The perplexing part of all this is the willing ignorance these people embrace. There is no appreciation for analysis, or history, or moral foundations. No appreciation for urgency, or patience, or vision. It's hard to describe. It's like a living breathing 'blob' of something wandering the streets. I appreciate your commentary. It's a rare example of rational communication. I hardly have the patience for it anymore.

I understand Manafort was working for Russians and helped launder money. Manafort was Trumps (campaign) manager and is now lying to the investigator in order to protect Russians RED FLAG-----direct link to the presidential campaign-----plus Trump brazenly asking Russia to get involved in the campaign on international tv. What more does the investigator need as proof of campaign ties to Russia. Others are also suspect but one is enough. Spare the list.LOL Plus the investigator is charged with checking out (anything) that leads from the initial investigation if I read Sparkles posting of Rosensteins document correctly. (sentence ii) on the document. Therefore it is an open ended investigation eliminating complaints about the investigator entering new territory. I suspect a money laundering scheme was being set up that would have dwarfed the Clinton foundation. YES that may be the witch in the hunt. LOL Also Jared can help with special training from his convict father. Of course it is only speculation on my part but if it looks like a witch it may well be a witch.LOL The Trump tower meeting during the campaign was about adopting Russian children????? Give me a break on that one. LOL Medicare for all. Party On!
