I disagree.
You can not replace one evil with another and benefit from it.

I am not hypocritical when it comes to my politics and I too didn't agree with Citizens United. I also resist temptation to take advantage of loopholes to justify a political calculation...but while I try hard it's not a perfect record. I don't object to an occasional incident of activist judges weighing in on an issue believing that more often than not I can rationalize thought when something presents a situation that has a significant gray area tone to it. That's imperfect too. With that as foundation here...I am so concerned over Trump and the fast growing fascism threat I'm unconcerned over Bloomberg's spending. Whether I vote for him or not....on super Tuesday...his ads provide an important public service...drawing critical distinction when compared to what we endure now. A fight like this is inherently ugly....but it's worth the fight....fixing citizens United comes later. That's not desperation....it's confirmation of the urgency that is the trump threat.

Corporations and the capitalists rule this country.
They pay their representatives with campaign donations.
Then through the dreaded quid pro quo.
The recipients reward them for their generosity.

Our system is corrupt to the core and nothing can be done about it.

The people mean nothing to them.
They reward the rich and plan to cut social programs.
And some of the people say thanks I like it that way.
The gullible are so easily misled.

    Quoting  :

You summarize the dilemma quite well. I'm not a purest when it comes political decisions. For example, I do not oppose EVERY tax cut, I am pro-life but accept choice. Donald Rumsfeld said something like this...you fight a war with the army you have. An election is such a battle. You play within the rules and count on the honor of the candidate to put country first.

Well if you are thinking of Bloomberg and a resurgence of the Clinton Foundation
you will certainly learn more about Citizens United. He & Hillary are a team. She will be in his administration. Possibly VP.
I will NEVER vote for him because of himself whom he associates with now & in the past & his record & outlook toward women. NO WAY----regardless of how he lies now.

I think the socialist anti insurance corporation guy sounds better every day in spite of the repub Goebbels style corporate campaign propaganda.
