Yes, there is an individual mandate. Dems lie when they deny it.

This diagram is provided by the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation.
They are among many reputable sites and various organizations that confirm this. Including even Wikipaed.

GBU all,

Hi Gav: It's so complicated. I can't see why anyone in the U.S. would have been against having everyone covered under the same government administered health care plan and get rid of the HMOs. It would be so much less work and worry for doctors offices, hospitals and patients. Where would the money come from? Your taxes.

    Howdy, Bijou,

I participate in an HMO and technically, I don't find myself strapped into the Obamacare nightmare because of my military retirement.

I don't find the process complicated at all. It is a simple flow-chart and is pretty easy to understand. My interest is not in determining WHO participates, but I am curious how many of our citizens are going to pay the price. Obama promised that Obamacare would not increase our taxes by "one single dime." Maybe not, if the IRS is able to bleed dry people and families who are forced to buy something they do not want.

Hi Fossil: To me it's a lot more complicated than it needs to be. I'm just glad the HMOs can't exclude anyone for a pre-existing condition or limit their lifetime coverage anymore. For those reasons alone, it sure is better than before. Here's the criteria for coverage here: If you live here you're covered, no flow chart and no questions asked. I don't think our health insurance plan even has a telephone number as there's no need for anyone to ever call them. What can be less complicated than that?
