THE STRANGE EVENTS HAPPENING AROUND THE WORLD

I take this opportunity provided by SFF Blog Land to post some of the mind- blowing photos that I could pick up from various web sites this morning. May be, many of my readers might have seen these pictures before. But those who did not see the pictures before may please view the photos here under posted by me. I do not brag that all credits in this respect goes to me. I did nothing except choosing these photos as I liked!! So dear readers- Happy Viewings!

Photo Details:

1. Rainbow eucalyptus trees in Australia. They look like someone painted them.

2. Horsetail Falls. Yosemite National Park. Happens once a year for just a few moments.

3. Hair Ice. Pretty neat but gross sounding.

4. Known as Green Flash. An extremely rare occurrence when the sun sets.

5. Frost flowers in the Arctic.

6. Danxia Land forms in China

7. This lake in Senegal turns red because the algae in the lake is absorbing light..

8. These boulders in New Zealand occur in clusters and are the result of wave erosion.

9. The "Door to Hell" is a natural gas field in Derweze, Turkemistan. The rich natural gas deposits where lit in 1971 by Soviet petroleum engineers. The field emits a strong smell of sulfur.

10.You can actually take a guided boat tour through these amazing New Zealand caves. These glowworms, called Arachnocampa luminosa, only exist in New Zealand.

Try as we might humans are no match for the wonders of nature. I like the "door to Hell". With a little artistic enhancement It would be an excellent subject for a painting.

You are absolutely correct. It is impossible for us to match for the wonders of the world. Nature works silently but efficiently. It is a relentless process.
Best wishes, Have a wonderful week.

Delighted to see you here again and many thanks for your decent comments that you have since left on my blog page here. There are many wonders in this blue planet where we live and called it earth. The nature works here in silence without wanting anything from us in return

Thanks Look, fascinating images. I would love to witness a neon 'Green Flash' - I wonder how rare the occurrences? The Danxia Landforms are fascinating with their coloured bands and the red lake in Senegal stunning. The beautiful Australian 'painted' eucalypts were a treat to see again. I didn't realise the glow worms in New Zealand are unique to that country - went on guided tour through glow worm cave - we had to be very quiet so as not to frighten/disturb them. Interesting experience. I would be interested in seeing the round boulders also.

Thanks again for your return to the blog to enjoy the pictures that I have since uploaded here for all to enjoy. As mentioned in the introduction of its blog of mine, i may tell you that I usually looked for these types of pictures for someone very dear to me to enjoy but now the person has disappeared in a foggy world to read poetry! I am happy to learn that you have liked the pictures and enjoyed the same. It is apparently clear to me that you have enjoyed the guided tour that you undertook through glow worm cave while visiting NZ.
Have a nice weekend.
